Question Fewer new tasks in the decision engine?

I have been noticing, that there has been fewer new tasks submitted to the decision lately.

I simply wonder if it's because the filter removes the new ideas, or because many people have quitted D3P0.

Any ideas why there are fewer new tasks? And will it become a problem?

Default It's gotta change or it may not last a year.

I to have noticed the decline in tasks, also, it seams to take quite a bit longer for new tasks to generate votes, in an hour a task used to have at least 30-40 votes one way or the other, now, in an hour you have maybe 7 or 8 votes. Part of it is likely that they put a limit on the tasks you can propose each day but at the same time I fear that Dan's incompletion of tasks may be causing many to give up on the show, I'm not blaming Dan, he's doing the best he can, but people are getting tired of waiting so long between video's. Hopefully his reboot of the show will get the viewers he needs but it's not looking good, his newer videos are getting way less views then they used to and his record for completing tasks is pretty low, a total of 12 tasks on his completed tasks page a few of which are only technical changes and lets face it, the population at large doesn't even know about those. I like Dan and I enjoy Dan 3.0 and I'm hoping he pulls it through but I do have my reservation's, I do hope he proves me wrong though. Prove me wrong Dan.

Default The searchfield

I totally agree with you. But to find a more positive explanation, I was also wondering if the decline in the number of new tasks is because people search for their idea instead of suggesting it themselves? This would, however, not solve the problem about the missing votes on new tasks.
