Hi all, I have a Sony BDP-BX57 player and until recently I was having no issues with it.
Last night, after inserting a standard DVD the sound playback was choppy, I reinserted the DVD and the issue continued, and I tried other DVD's which did not fix the problem. The Blu-ray disks, CD's and Online content (Netflix, Pandora), all work fine. I reset the player to the factory defaults and did a full power reset, to no avail. I don't want to return it or send ot in for repairs if at all possible. Are there any suggestions that might fix this issue. The player has the most up to date drivers per the Sony website. Any help would be greatfull Thanks, Ed Last edited by esan6 : 09-15-2010 at 02:27 PM. Reason: Up date troubleshooting path |

It's connected to the TV via an HDMI cable. Not sure why it is doing this only with the SD DVD.
