Saw Buried last night and pretty much agree with everything said. This film should win awards in a variety of categories, although not Best Picture. If you get a chance to see it, do so. It's not often movies this unique and well executed come along.

Theatre or DVD in a dark room at home?

I'm thinking DVD at home alone would be max creep factor.

I wonder if that is why it didn't feel so visceral to Jeff, kinda hard to feel like your in a box alone in a theatre with 80 other people. But at home on a quiet dark night all by yourself, I can imagine getting that feeling.

And yes, I have to agree that this is probably my biggest fear in the world, its one of the more probable. I want to be cremated for this very reason. Or at least bury me with a phone in the coffin.

Tobolowsky?!

I was wondering if mention of him would come up in this episode. I still remember the episode of the Tobolowsky Files where he talks about his part in the movie.

I'm of two minds when it comes to this movie. The part of me that is becoming interested in film making and movies in general wants to see it, but the other half of me isn't sure if I should bother with if for reasons Jeff mentioned such as lacking tension. Tough decision.

Agreed on all counts.

Although, I don't want to be cremated in a modern way...skip the embalming and set me atop a cord of wood, set ablaze in the middle of the night. (hell, have some beer and smores for teh ceremony)

Default This is a lot more than I anticipated

Pleasantly surprised at this film I was a little worried in the first 5 minutes thinking that I would get either bored, frustrated or both by the lack of characters and scenery. The voices on the phone built up enough a cast to keep you on the edge of your seat throughout. My wife's review reveals her disappointment that Ryan didn't remove his shirt.
