its like windows but better and its on a disk i recomend knoppix

It doesn't have to run off of a disk, you can install it...

yes but when you install knoppix to disk it nas a tendency to break things

linux? never heard of it. sounds like a soft drink to me...like pepsi or coke. i'm usually right about these kinds of things so no sense in questioning me.
