i think the game Jeff was trying to think of was 'Vanquish,' had a few great game mechanics that worked really well and flowed easily, such as the slide mechanic the guys mentioned. also had a great cover system and slow motion shooting is a lot of fun.
Really well made and fun game in my opinion, even if the story leaves a lot to be desired. It's a shame the guys didn't manage to fit in a review for it when it came out because it didn't sell very well and i think it deserves more attention than it got.
if you like crazy, non-stop action shooters i recommend it highly.
