I figure this is as good a place as any to share my experience with subscribing to a Revision3 show through the Zune software and getting it onto my new Zune HD 16gb player. (This might be old news to all the Zune owners out there, but I didn't know about it so I hope it safes other newbies some grief).
When I subscribed to Diggnation through the Zune Marketplace, the Zune software automatically downloaded the latest episode using the hd quicktime feed. The episode looked great on my PC, but when I tried to sync it to the Zune HD, a conversion process was started that took forever. And by forever I mean the episode still wasn't synced to my Zune several hours later.
I figured out later that I should not have gone to the Zune Marketplace at all. Instead, I should have just clicked on the 'podcasts' tab under the 'collection' button. On the bottom left of that page is a 'add a podcast' button that, once pressed, allowed me to enter the RSS feed of any podcast I wanted. I used the Large MP4 feed, which, on the Diggnation subscription webpage, is labeled as 'tablet.'
After the episode finished downloading, syncing it to my Zune HD took less than 30 seconds and required no conversion at all. The episode looks fantastic on my device!
(I'm on Windows 7 Professional, Zune desktop software version 4.7.1404.0, Zune HD player version 4.5 (109).)
