Hello, sorry for the newbie post, but Love the show and hope someone can help.
I have a bunch of stuff plugged into my older Mitsubishi HDTV (Xbox, Tivo, HD Dish Receiver, Wii ,Blu-Ray, etc.). My TV still works just fine and the picture is just great for my needs (up to 1080i), but I'm out of inputs. I'm trying to connect an Apple TV2 to the TV and do not have an HDMI input. So here's my question. How can I economically connect the Apple TV and perhaps use DVI for the other components? I've seen the HDFury, and the following converter from Amazon : http://www.amazon.com/SPDIF-Componen...uct/B002SFT3ZI What would be best? I'm leaning towards a new A/V receive with multiple HDMI inputs and one output, then run the single output through the HD Fury. My only hesitation is that I know I eventually upgrade my TV, the converter will be useless. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
