Time for more drunk episodes?

I know they don't like to do them often anymore, but we all know we laughed our asses off at 242 and 243. That happened in february 2010. Can they bring back the old school diggnation some more?

I've been saying this for ages. Every episode should be a drunk episode.. That's why I watch, I wanna see them get wasted and make fools of themselves whilst talking about tech. But now Kevin doesnt drink beer because he's into healthy living bullshit and Alex has two sips of beer per episode.. The show is rarely entertaining now that every episode is "dry" and sponser-ridden.

Alex seems to be the one holding back on drinking. Kevin has tried numerous times to try to chug a beer or drink quickly and Alex shuts it down. Not sure if he really would or if he's only trying because he knows Alex won't do it.

Diggnation = tech stories & drinking...or at least thats how it was established in the early days of awesomeness

Given that they both own companies and have lives outside of 'work' to manage, they probably don't have the time to waste an afternoon or evening getting wasted, record a couple of episodes, and then be ready for the treadmill the next morning... Getting older changes your priorities abit, and you find other things to help pass your time that get wasted. I can vouch that as you get older (I am 41) that your taste for beer and other things changes as well. You can't get me near the stuff I used to drink in my 20s...

Exactly. I'd honestly be concerned for Alex and Kevin's health if they were still drinking as much as they used to. Those are the types of guys that got fucking plastered on a regular basis throughout their 20's.

Kevin was working full time at digg (and during the uphill time when things were probably crazy) when they first started the show and alex was also doing other things. Their activities didn't seem to get in the way then, and thats when they were filming episodes weekly instead of 2 or more of them in a single night.

I'm not saying they have to go crazy every single episode, but when the show was originally about drinking and tech stories its sad that we now consider it a special occasion when we get that... and only about once a year.
