Samsung 8000 series To laptop i5 through HDMI. SOFTWARE???

Hello can anybody help me choosing the right software for playing HD files (not Bluray discs) in my i5 M460 2.53ghz first gen with intel hd graphics? and also the tweaks for the software and TV.. do you recommend MPC-HC, ??
the Model is UN46B8000 240Hz refresh rate.

I would recommend using XBMC, I use this and it is im my opinion the best out there can handle pretty much any file type you throw at it.

I'd play it with WMP if it provides any form of acceleration for the video!

Also, I'd check Intel's Driver Update Utility page - it does a quick check on your most important Intel drivers and offers you quick downloads for any that need updating:
