Forest Whitaker in Catch .44

I really don't understand why Ryan was so surprised that Forest Whitaker is in Catch .44. Sure he's a great actor, but don't forget about movies like Battlefield Earth, Species and Phone Booth. He's second only to Ben Kingsley in his willingness to do any horrible movie that gives him a paycheck?

Didnt like his character in the movie. Dont know if it was his portrayal or the writing... the bad accents were definitely part of it. Many things could have made it a much better flick.
