Well, I guess it wasn't a big surprise. A great concept that was poorly executed. Another potential Quantum Leap that ended up being another Journeyman.

Mostly I'm upset because I love Steve Harris and he hasn't really been in anything since The Practice. I hope I don't have to wait another 5 years for him to show up in something.

Also, because NBC did renew Whitney :| Stop watching shitty sitcoms America!

This show is amazing! After the 11th episode where Jason Isaacs poured his heart out on screen it really kicked into high gear (became serialized and not procedural).

This interview that Isaacs did recently he even admits that after these last 3 episodes the entire crew of the show was coming up to him and telling him how good the show was getting...

Quote:
"I know that when we shot it the crew members kept coming up to me, right at the end, going, 'This is what the show could be' … Things get as hysterical and emotional as you're ever going to see on network television."
This guy was the best actor on network TV and nobody paid attention. The fact that America let this incredibly original and unique show slip through it's fingers is the biggest disgrace of 2012.

Haven't loved a show this much since The Shield. The finale airs tomorrow. If you haven't already join the campaign to fight to get this show back on the air.

Haven't seen Breaking Bad or The Wire yet, but my favorite shows of the last decade now includes The Shield, LOST, Avatar: TLA, AWAKE, Game of Thrones.

If you are not watching these last 3 episodes you are making a huge mistake.

Just watched the series finale, not satisfied with the ending, but realize they probably had to seriously rush things knowing they didn't get renewed.

Probably better it's cancelled than forced to add characters that completely change the dynamic.

(Yes, I'm bitter over a couple shows having done that the past couple years...not that they were great to begin with.)

I thought this show got better as time went on, but I felt the whole ending defeated the purpose of the rest of the series. His family is alive in one continuity, nothing he's done for the past few months mattered, his boss is still crooked and we still don't know how or why he was flipping between realities, or if that even happened. I think it's clear that thanks to his wife saying goodbye in his "dream," that he should have woken up in the blue continuity with his son and called it a day. Being able to have both slices of cake and eat them too defeats everything this show stood for. Every time I FELT his turmoil and dilemma of only having one half of a life at a time and slowly losing control of himself I KNEW this series had become something more than the premise. I am disappointed. *pout*

The way I interpreted it, based on his last conversation with the shrink, was that he has created a dreamworld where they're both alive, whereas in the real world it's the blue continuity. If I don't take that interpretation then I kind of hate the show.
