So im looking for a way to stream bluray/dvd iso's over my network from my pc to my tv, i already have hardwired cat6 gigabit network and fast computers, but i'm wondering if there is a streaming box that i can integrate with my tv and network.
I've seen boxes from Dune and Popcorn Hour, anyone have any experiences with them. any ideas? |

If you have a couple of thousand to spend. kaleidescape/
If you want to do it on the cheap then xbmc is your friend. An XBMC server paired with a jailborken apple TV2 to be more precise. From what I understand, you can rip your blurays on the XBMC server than you can stream them using the apple tv2 (jailbroken). An XBMC server can be an old tower that you don't use, stuffed in an AV closet or anywhere in the house running over some of that mighty fine cat6 you got going on there. Oh yeah I can just imagine all those bits going over that cat6. oh man it makes me so hot to think about all those 1s and 0s. oh man.
