So, after using chrome for about 6 months(due to FF constant crashing), chome constantly freezes now. Saying something about flash. Which from what I've read, it's on chromes end.
Anyway, I've went back to FF, which hasn't crashed once. I set my homepage to google. Now everytimg it shows the chrome download link on the right hand side. And it's annoying. I know I can x out of there, but when I close the browser, I have it set to delete history and cookies. So it will then show it. Then I tried that in IE9 same thing, but it's even more annoying. When I go to google it says Come here often? Make Google your homepage. I find that so annoying. If I want to change my homepage, or download chrome, I know how to do that without them keep bugging me. So now my homepage on IE and FF is bing. |

The latest FF update seems to give a less annoying Google search page with FF shortcuts for Download, Bookmarks, History, Add-Ons, Sync, and Settings along the bottom of the page.
There's just a "Fast. Smart. Safe. Get the mobile browser that's got your back. Get Firefox for Android." below the Google search entry space. But you can just not use the browser default and set the home page to just plain Google.com and it shouldn't show you anything but the search options. |
