Stargate figures and the boxes they come in.

I'm not a toy collector by any means, but when I found out that each Stargate SG-1 figure came with a piece of a Stargate, I HAD to buy them all, which also means I have to open all the boxes too.

My question: should I keep these empty boxes? I don't plan on selling the figures, but if I change my mind, would they be worth more if I included the opened packaging? I only ask because my apartment is small and I also have a bunch of empty Star Wars boxes too.
