a little I think, yes. When I joined last night all anyone was talking about was Skype and how they could hook up... It probably didn't help that I simply kept posting "Dick in a Box"

I was hoping to one day actually go to IRC and talk about some geek related movies, books, something besides fleshlights.

I know that conversation and online chatter tends to go to online hookup and porn topics and I'm all too familiar with the anonymity factor pulling all sorts of conversations/feelings/attachments/crazy stuff that I wouldn't normally engage in with people who are pretty much strangers...I'm over that. Now I just want to chat about my love for Rocky movies or the fact that I saw Batman Begins for the fifteenth time, or get a book recommendation.

Maybe it's just the nature of the beast.
