I told slowmtnsilhouette that I'd try and get on the IRC today and I did, try that is. I don't know why but I can't connect. I tried with both fire fox and Internet explorer 7. I'm able to load the java IRC program but when I try to connect it says that it times out and can't connect. Anyone have any ideas how I can solve this.

Are you hitting the right server?

If you are using an IRC client point to: irc.invictachat.net #geekdrome
Otherwise try: http://www.invictachat.net/index.php...n=%23geekdrome (Java IRC client)

Unfortunately, this thread has gotten kinda long. The IRC moved from that site about 6 weeks ago. Try the one I linked to instead. I will edit the first post to make sure people know the deal as well, since this seems t come up fairly often.
