Where is YouTube going?
They were talking about the revenue coming up very short of the bandwith costs and all that...where do you think YT is going and where could it go to make a profit?

I don't think their current ad-support plan is working because I can't even remember the last time I saw an ad on there. Unless you count the Cingular Underground sponsorship, and the upcoming movie's trailers being featured on the front page.

They also have myspace trying to take over too now.
They need something to gain more money, ads more ads?

Well they can charge advertisers more but I don't remember any ads from YouTube so they are definately not getting clicks from me. And I'm sure everyone else is becoming immune to the ads as we have to Google Ads basically, just ignoring them, or overlooking them.

Google Video is alright, just, I don't know what makes YouTube more attractive to view videos on.
But Google Video holds its own, I guess it's jut not organized community-wise at all like YouTube.

google video has a system like youtube's but they haven't released it yet
it has the comments feature and everything else they are just hiding it from us until they perfect it i guess
