As seen in episode 7, Alex, Dan, and I have started a wager based on the movie grosses for the summer. We each predicted the top ten grossing movies for the summer, in order, and will score our lists in September based on this website (although we have no affiliation with this guy... just sounded cool):

I think Pirates is going to kick Spidey's ass... possibly Harry Potter as well (since Order of the Phoenix was the best book)

Spidey may have broke the opening records, but with a very split reaction, and stiff competition in the coming weeks I think it is poised to be beaten in the long run. I think Pirates 3 will win the summer, as it has a nice bit of time until something truly big challenges it. Harry Potter will be a very close second, and could upset Pirates with the Deathly Hollows coming out a scant week before the film. Never underestimate Potter mania.

well it is a tough call between GoF and OotP but I still prefer 5
