Hey guys I just found and tested this really cool way to get unlimited cell minutes. So what you do is you get one of these cell carriers that has free 1 number calling like sprint's sprint to home featue or t-mobiles fav 5 deal. Then you get voicestick which has a bridge feature. So you tell your carrier that voicestick is the one number that you want free calling to, so you then set up the bridge back over at voicestick's site so that every time you call from your cell it gives you a dial tone. So sprint thinks your calling home but you can call any where for free or really cheap now. Best of all it is not against their TOS because you can also use voicestick as your home number.

Nice idea, but it has 2 fatal flaws:
Even with the Voicestick free plan you still have to pay for any calls to non-voicestick users. Which is pretty much everyone you would be calling. And their rates would be comparable, and even more expensive in most cases, to the cell phone plans. Another fatal flaw to this plan is that you won't be given the free "dial 1 number" service with a provider (T-mobile, Verizon, etc) without signing up and paying for a plan which will give you the hundreds of minutes per month which you need to talk. Link me to a place where you can get that service for free if you think I'm wrong. Now, my idea for the next show actually works, and its actually free, in all cases where it works, which is every case where I have tried it so far. Last edited by magnus : 06-06-2007 at 03:55 PM. |

Well I just found out you can also use alltel's prepaid service which is only 75 cents a day and it comes with the one number calling. I am almost positive that voicestick has cheaper rates than all of the cell phones, when you do the math most carriers charge about 10 cents a minute.
