Strange unamed trailer before Transformers?
What the hell was that? Lots of screaming, explosions, then the head of the Statue of Liberty? They didn't even name the damn movie. So... anyone know wtf it was?

That was J.J. Abrams top secret project, codenamed 'CLOVERFIELD'.
Apparently it's about some kind of alien apocalypse told through one guy's handycam.

The trailer was pretty damn effective, especially seeing effects like that on digital video.
Color me curious.

Yeah I got that trailer down here too, I was wondering what it was. I think its pretty cool that they are making people think about what kind of movie it is rather than just tell them. Anyway it looks interesting, I will probably check it out once it comes out.

Lost tie in? .... nah ofcourse it wouldn't be, looks pretty cool whatever it is.
Find it amazing that they've managed to keep it under wraps all this time with no proper information on the plot etc, just seems to have come out of the blue now.
