Default Best quality video?

I just upgraded my PC and am wondering which is the best quality video to watch on my Samsung 226BW. Large Xvid?

H.264 should be, but it depends on your video card. if you've got an 8600GT or better, should be ok.

i watch this on my Sony 32" CRT HD with a 6600GT card. WMV looks best on that.

I've got a 3DFX VooDoo 3 2000 and it runs the H.264 fine.

Damn ATi and their cheap cards...

mine will run h.264 ok, its watchable but i see some "tearing". its probably interlacing. wmv looks best on my 6600GT.

I love h.264 because of the quality, and i embeds inside my browser, so no download time for any of Rev3 shows if they offer it in h.264.

I go for Xvid large...All my machines play it and even the dvd can play it.
