That's amazingly cheap. I think I'll wait for one that's a bit higher end, but I like where this is going...

Definitely puts a quirk in the used laptop market. It will be interesting to see how the ebook reader market deals with it,

The only thing I really like about this is the price. I'm not impressed by the hardware and it's running an outdated version of Android. I'm not sure if you checked out Android 2.2 (Froyo) yet, but it's really nice. It's definitely giving Apple a run for the money. I'd go as far as saying Froyo leapfrogged the iPhone OS. The only thing they need to work on is the Android Market. The market currently has 50,00 apps whereas the app store has over 200,000. I'm not concerned with the quantity of apps as much as I am the quality however. In my opinion, iPhone apps are overall of better quality. Froyo is adding a lot of new features for developers, so I'm hoping they take advantage of them and crete some more apps of better quality.

As far as the tablet goes, I would wait for one with better hardware and a newer version of Android. That and webOS tablets are also right around the corner (although I feel Android is the way to go).

*To be fair, we only saw a preview of iPhone OS 4.0. But based on what I saw in Froyo, I think Android leapfrogged the iPhone OS.*

I wish some of these Android tablets would get American distributors.
