Firstly, Roscoe's Chicken 'n Waffles, dat be some sick shit, yo.

The chickens are great by themselves, as are the waffles and syrup, but when people get up in there and start wrapping the chicken in the waffles and pour syrup on it... sick.

Some of mah fav's are mac 'n cheese w/ ketchup, eggs w/ketchup, nothing too original. I love getting a plate of broccoli and melting american cheese over it.

PS: Teriyaki suace can be poured onto anything. Ketchup's out of his prime. Teriyaki is the new hot shit. srsly.

In scrambled eggs, mac and cheese, and a recipe I'm about to submit to Ctrl+Alt+Chicken.

Ketchup on scrambled eggs is pretty standard in Australia ... although our "tomato sauce" isn't as sweet as the US stuff, so it does work better with eggs.

Some combinations are cultural ... like what you dip your french fries in. Hmmm. I feel a poll coming on ...

I think ketchup is very underrated. As a sauce, it's up to personal taste. But, ketchup in recipes can be a great substitute for thickeners, like corn starch. A couple table spoons can really bring a tang to soups, spaghetti sauces, gravies... a lot of stuff.

Didn't Alex and Heather use it in the beef stew? Perfect example. Just gotta go easy on the stuff. But with all the salt in it, it really can highlight other flavors.

If you are cooking with ketchup, get an organic one - they aren't as "artificially" sweet, and taste more tomatoey.
