I came to TRS from Diggnation and It's definatly my favorite. In fact its my favorite internet program period. But I haven't really noticed this "decline" in diggnation everyone else here seems to be complaining about. It's still good as far as I'm concerned. The only problem I see with it is that the "shill" stuff at the end seems to slowly be getting longer and longer. Which cuts into the interesting part of the show more and more. Especially since I usually end up just stopping once they get to sponsors.

I agree totally....infact I said this same thing 2 months ago
http://www.revision3.com/forum/showp...4&postcount=61I was just thinking this as I watched ep22 just a few min ago: I think i look forward to watching TRS as much as I look forward to watching my favorite shows on TV. I still like Diggnation, but TRS just has so much more. The 4 guys just bring a dynamic to the show that makes it, well, RAD. So yeah, I just said that I look forward to watching TRS as much as Heroes or Smallville. Bask in it TRS guys. ![]() |

I actually think that people might be saying Diggnation is declining just because TRS has raised their expectations. |

Am I the only 'reverse' drifter out there? I started watching Diggnation after finding TRS being hosted by my ISP (thus downloads not being counted in the monthly quota). I much prefer TRS because of the overall tone. To me the most telling difference is what happens when people disagree on each of the shows. In TRS there are some goofy insults, chuckles and we move on; on Diggnation, they are a huge downer.

Well...I actually found TRS and because they don't do an episode every day I went to diggnation and started watching all the old episodes. But...I do enjoy TRS a little more than Diggnation.

The interactivity with the forums and fan and the personal feel are what makes this show rock for me. The fact that it covers rad stuff is just a bonus. It's less like a show and more like going over and hanging out with some cool guys. As long as it keeps that feel I'm hooked. Alex, Jeff and Dan could come hang out at my place any time.

You got me... I feel the same way. While I love Diggnation and the jokes between Alex and Kevin, it just has gotten old/stale.
TRS is awesome! LONG LIVE TRS! |

I came to TRS from Diggnation, and though I love Diggnation, TRS is my favorite. For me it boils down to my son. He loves Alex. He loved to watch Screensavers and when that ended and Diggnation started up I was fine with him watching with me. Then it seemed to get more and more adult, and he is only 8. I had to nix Diggnation for him. Luckily TRS and also Ctrl Alt Chicken, but for him mainly TRS, came along. I got him to do his homework without complaint yesterday because he knew he could watch TRS afterwards. I just wish there were more shows so I could have that easy of time everyday of the week.
At least I can bribe him with gaming to get his homework done. |

I like both shows but TRS is definitely my favorite. Im more interested in the topics covered and the opinions of the the guys. I find myself watching diggnation just to see what goofy situation or dialog will happen and not really for the stories.

Though I never imagined it would be the case, yes, I'm enjoying TRS a lot more than Diggnation these days. Kevin seems to be slipping a bit. Maybe it's the booze, but I don't find myself laughing as much anymore (except at/with Alex) and frankly the scrambling and bs-ing while someone trys to find the story they haven't bothered to read ahead of time is wearing a bit thin. I'll keep watching - don't get me wrong - but I'm really digging TRS.
