First loved the show...Second....HAHN! What are you using the speakers on your TV for? Come on sir, please, please, please get yourself a decent receiver that accepts HDMI for all your toys and some real speakers.

Keep the TV speakers on low (for late night viewing)...or zero if you can.

Default Taking Notes

I just wanted to say that I have been used to use my iBook and now I use my MacBook for all of my note-taking needs in all of my classes. There has not been a class (if you don't count PE classes) in which I was not able to use my laptop to take notes. Most of the time for diagrams I would just make table and such. It might not have been as pretty, but it worked and I was able to pass around notes to friends and class-mates. The only time I ever used pen and paper was for my chemistry classes. I would draw what I needed to on paper and then I would just take a picture with my phone and use bluetooth to transfer it to my computer. Copy and paste and it was in my notes.

For someone with really bad handwriting, taking notes electronically was a life saver.

Oh, and I just wanted to repeat this:

1) Glad to see the streaming media player review. I thought it was a really good review, way to go Hahn. Was a little disappointed that you didn't mention TVersity or any third party server software, as they can generally fix most issues. Like streaming over Wireless G. My DSM-320 (basically a 520 without HD) has no problem with my G network, but I always have TVersity reducing some of the bit rate on the fly to ensure that it is smooth, and it still looks really good.

2) Horrible to see Jessica claim the AppleTV as a better deal. I guess if all you use are the iTunes store for audio and video and are happy to be locked into 1 format than the AppleTV it is, but for the rest of us that want to watch some video file we downloaded from the internet *cough* InDigital, other podcasts, TV shows, Movies, or other content found on the Internet. *cough* and not have to worry that the makers offer a AppleTV compatible format or converting it ourselves, then one of these products is awesome., and the AppleTV pretty much isn't even an option.

To end this mini-rant, Jessica can you please get the idea out of your head that all audio/video devices NEED a iPod/iTunes tie in? Please? It's not a bad thing that you say that, it just makes me not take you seriously, as some times I can write it off as "She doesn't like it cause she can't plug her iPod into it." And honestly, I don't want to do that for 1 of the 2 remaining hosts (Wil has been gone too long. )

I know...I need a receiver. It's a financial thing. I have a lot of money invested in the show, so it's going to have to wait.

Ha ha ha, I was thinking the same thing... A financial thing? Yeah, I can understand that too.

I'll give you a pass this time, but don't expect me to be nice again, lol. No worries, maybe that could be your next segment. A decent receiver/speaker set (home theater maybe) for less that doesn't suck. Ok ok if you do use it would be sweet to give me a tiny tiny shout out, just saying...

Hahn or someone reads comic books on InDigitial It looked like i could see Marvel Trade Paperbacks on the shelf as Hahn was reviewing the Netgear Entertainer. I also noticed that CDisplay was on a laptop that was featured on a show to demonstrate something.

Stephen Jang, who helps produce the show and happens to be my housemate (hint on where InDigital is made) is a comic book fan. Michael Cha, who helps out is also a fan. Personally, I just look at the pictures

Still asking if that red table is an old Tech TV prop you managed to snag when they cleaned house.
