Windows XP vs Windows Xp Professional
What's the difference between these two?
Is it worth upgrading to Pro if you haven't?

XP Pro has more user permission settings, telnet(I think), act as a remote desktop server.
Link ^Has a greater overview of the two editions. Upgrading right now is up to you, but with Vista coming soon I'd wait a bit.
