What's it like to be an engineer?

I was just wondering what's it like for all you experienced engineers out there. I mean just fresh out of college with a B.S. in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, etc. Do you really use all that math, chemistry, and physics daily? Are you in constant fear that you might mess up on something? What's the job market like? Was it hard getting that first job? Are you satisfied with your career choice?
