Default Show idea

I was thinking of theme-oriented episodes. The focus could be on movies, TV, comics and video games with a consistent idea or theme in mind. The pieces discussed don't necessarily need to be new. If you have one new, Western for example, two or three could be classic ones. This would allow you to appeal to the modern, often young, viewer and then introduce them to the older gems that you hold dear. IF you can turn people on to a wider range within a theme it might lead them off on new, stimulating journies.

Examples:

THEME: Biggest surprises of 2007
  • Movies: A great Bond 007 film. I kept expecting it to tank and it didn't!
  • TV: How consistently good 'Heroes' is and how it has not yet been canceled like 'Firefly' and 'Rome' (ooooh Rome, why why why).
  • Video Games: the revolutionary gameplay of 'LittleBigPlanet'
  • Comics: I haven't read too much in a while, but Ultimates 2 surprised me at how far overboard it went.
Others:
Westerns
Love Stories
Space
Costumed Superheroes
Tragic characters
Characters from mythology
Suburbia
Music and sound
At home sick and watching TV
Documentaries
Cops & Robbers (The Shield is indeed superb from episode 1 to present)

and one special one: GUILTY PLEASURES
