Default Astonishing X-Men motion comic

free on Hulu:

I have to admit this motion comic is really well done. Same thing with the Spider-Woman, Agent of SWORD motion comic they're putting out.

I love the idea of motion comics. They're a good way to introduce people who wouldn't normally buy books to the world of comics. It seems like it wouldn't be all that hard to do the conversion either, compared to actually doing an animated series.

I actually don't think it's very well done. The acting is pretty bad, and the way they deliver some of Whedon's dialogue is just horrible.

i have absolutely no interest in this, i've already read the book why would i get the motion comic? I was interested in the Spider-Woman comic because it was original content, but it took so long to be posted on the Canadian iTunes store that by the time it was released, i had already read the comic version. i think i'll be sticking with the comic version from here on out, they missed the boat with me on that one.
The Astonishing adaptation just strikes me as Marvel trying to hit an audience who is too lazy to read

For whatever reasons, a lot of people don't read comics. I don't think laziness is a big factor. Unfamiliarity and cost are probably the main factors. And if the motion comic can get more people into comics, then that's great IMO.
