Robotic Medical Tech from Panasonic Center in Tokyo, Japan
Friday, March 2nd, 2012
A bed that converts to a wheelchair, and a robot for hospital use were two of the cool things I saw at Panasonic Center in Tokyo.
Elderly people sometimes need help getting in and out of bed. This bed converts to a wheelchair for great mobility and independence. It's also got a built-in LCD screen and medical sensors to monitor health.
HOSPi Medical Robot
HOSPi is designed to carry things like medicine around hospitals and assist medical personnel so they can do their jobs more efficiently.
