Considering that they were shooting on NBC-Universal's stage, I'd imagine they were shooting with a high-grade multi-thousands of dollars top of the line megastudio camera and not their usual prosumer cameras that they normally use in the Hakhouse.
Plus they were all sober :D

Actually, we shot this with the same cameras we normally use in the Hakhouse. And they aren't even prosumer, they're some of the least expensive AVCHD cameras you can find on the market today. We're currently sporting three Panasonic HDC-SD9's (~$365) and one Canon HF11 (~$420).
This episode is an excellent example of how far great lighting can go to make your video look sexy. The light grid above us was amazing. The set was sweet. I can't thank NBC enough for letting us use their stages.
While we don't have as nice of a lighting setup at the Hakhouse, we will be releasing in HD from now on so expect similar quality video.

Dude, after getting a ton of crap about our video quality when we premiered on this network I'm delighted to read that we've got the prettiest video in town.
