HBO's The Pacific is a great series, and Patrick loves everything about it... except the compression artifacts! Gah! Maybe it would be worth waiting for the Blu-ray instead. On a lighter note, Citizen Kane and Ben Hur are each getting a Blu-ray release in 2011, and both are undergoing "comprehensive restorations", so the transfer should be excellent. Sources say a Blu-ray set with all six Star Wars movies is coming soon, and rumor has it maybe as soon as October 2011, though there's no date on Amazon. @suknat Check that both HDMI cables work between Blu-ray player and HDTV, then a different HDMI port, then factory reset AVR and update it!
