The World Cup will be airing on ESPN in 3D! DirecTV, Comcast, and AT&T U-verse subscribers will be able to watch the tournament, assuming you have a 3D-enabled HDTV like the ones from Samsung and Panasonic. LG has yet to ship their line, and those from Sony are coming soon bundled with Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs. DISH Network is dropping its HD fees, and DirecTV will soon follow. 3D is also making its way into video games, with Wipeout HD, Super Stardust HD completely in 3D and select levels of PAIN will be in 3D as well. The iPhone 4 isnt shipping yet, but it does promise 720p video capability, and as GadgetReview points out, Konnet Reflex Dock Pro Stand will bring that output to your HDTV. Panasonic is releasing huge professional plasma displays, up to 152" which can project life-sized images of people. AppleTV is turning into a $99 iOS streaming box, featuring cloud storage and 1080p. When Will Brazil Hit Blu-ray?

Brazil by Terry Gilliam would be a great movie to see in glorious Blu-ray, but alas, we have heard no word about it. If and when it does get released, though, hopefully they'll release the original 142 minute cut that the Europeans saw in the theaters, though the 131 minute version was also approved by Terry Gilliam. Hopefully they stay away from the 94 minute version with the happy ending. Watch the video for more on what Robert and Patrick would like to see on a new release of this favorite.
