About Jay Adelson
Jay Adelson is the founder and chairman of the board of Revision3, the leading Internet Television network.
He currently serves as CEO at SimpleGeo,
focused on making it simple for developers to create location-aware applications.
Prior to SimpleGeo, Adelson served as CEO of the social news website
Digg, where he took the company from an unknown startup to a global brand.
Under his leadership, Digg grew from less than 20,000 to more than 35
million monthly visitors.
Before Digg, Adelson founded Equinix, Inc (Nasdaq: EQIX), a
multi-billion dollar company that operates data centers and provides
network connectivity services for companies around the world.
Adelson also co-founded Digital Equipment Corporation's Palo Alto Internet
Exchange (PAIX), one of the largest Internet aggregation points in the
world, and was a founding employee of Netcom On-Line Communications,
Inc.
In 2008, Adelson was recognized in Time Magazine's "Time 100 - The Most
Influential People in the World."
