Nixie Pixel

I grew up gaming on the computer and consoles like the Atari 2600 (Video Olympics FTW!). I'm still a PC purist at heart and have always been a bit (a lot) of a technology geek. I'm being constantly impressed by how far games have come and are going, so far beyond when I used to play Kings Quest for hours, a DOS based adventure where I had to type "GO NORTH AND PICK UP KEY" I am convinced it will only be a matter of time until we're breaking out the virtual reality games. I was born of Russian descent and was adopted by a wonderful family, grew up in Massachusetts where I spent most of my childhood years, then moved to Iowa (the middle of nowhere to be exact) as a teen as an effort by my parents to calm the "wild child" in me. After this wild child gamer girl grew up to be a wild gamer chick, I thought I'd try out something different and head out to the coasts of California. I love to travel and just recently spent a month in Europe, exclusively to check out the Love Parade, a 1.5 million strong electronic dance party/rave (oh, watch out for the Space cakes in Amsterdam ;). I recently left my job as a master control operator at a television station to pursue my dream of starting my own business. I've done everything. Well, almost everything. Along the way I rediscovered my love for talking about games and for video and music editing, and hope to see that I am accepted as a Suicide Girl, though I'm too much of a nervous nerd to put myself "out there" yet. However, I tend to do things impulsively, so be on the look out for those pictures in the near future. {insert evil laugh here}
