" This upset about -- as far too graphic audio and click it or ticket from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. My family I'm -- I'm Ron and I am just -- here in Seattle the emerald city comic con is the sixth annual embassy compound were super -- it's a first I'm -- this dimension and it's at some have -- on for the smaller cars you've got more -- the creators more manageable crowds -- and it's it's it's a little like -- met here is gone but it's in the Pacific northwest of its. It's lovely scenery as well so there's still optical people the come talk to a nothing to see so we need to go do that I'm looking to be an extremely. -- So I was really -- talking this convention which we can email back and forth. The past year has been a really good year for. Except to yet been fun but I thought it was really interesting because I've been reading your stuff for several years now -- noble causes and noses okay but I operas that -- be better than last year dynamo five now that would noble cause is now with Jim and I. Where this burst of kind of creativity -- coming from IE I don't know my artists I guess I'm inspired Leo doing good work and it's it's inspiring me to -- my game guests. And you've you've taken noble causes and created this kind of fervor versus -- calling it. Pat has always been -- reminders -- that -- little."

" And you know coming up Buffy avoided you know I like it -- here -- beat each other and all that stuff but I. It's gonna have a -- I don't like it when you can't read a book without reading some other you know it so I always want he seems to be. Unit to augment the reader to the reading experience not hindering so you are like having characters Fitzgerald gets star crossed over a little bit but. You know each book should be separate that you can read on its -- but obviously I'd like to put readable --"

" Ally and and it's -- I love that's shared universe is well and -- books are one of the ones that they take advantage of the image and in savage dragon shows up invincible yeah. And what's interesting about that is that is is that it seems as if it happens but like it legacy not the read every book unison to --"

" Characters like right yeah I mean that it. Put it this way if I didn't have access to invincible and savage dragon and ends up I would still have other like kind of meaningless superhero show up -- noble causes its. Noble causes -- to be in a universe of of other heroes. But the bonuses to these are your heroes it. Actually get their own books so it's but if you don't reached -- never heard -- it doesn't doesn't matter to the point is that there are other heroes running around and you know we could proceed him for part time."

" So let's sit through noble causes is back its five year jump. RI NS is a lot more action rather than the soap opera stuff yeah I mean we're we're trying to -- but but."

" You'll the -- is such a fantastic action artist created its -- a waste at tech have him just solely be drawing. You know Talking Heads every issue so you know I'm I'm trying to update and put it more action but also keep the focus on the characters and -- this soap opera elements. That the -- the first wrote kind of run of the issues focused on recently is right and they're nowhere to be found now some of the far right they're they're they are. I kinda where they are and don't reveal that they. This year but but I don't you know. I want to keep them out of the picture -- little bits that we see what they're up to -- satisfying you know surprise there."

" And so dynamo five as the book that at least for me what my best books of 2007. It really brings up the team dynamic normal -- elect the X-Men."

" Yeah yeah that that's I. You know what's up high concept of these illegitimate kids and their half siblings and all that but all that is really an excuse to do. A classic superhero team with. Secret headquarters -- watches and you know all that kind of stuff in and that's and having fun doing it and just kinda. Try to put in new angle on army's old comic books staples."

" And what I think is great about them up by -- is that the kids of captain dynamo who we saw little more on the recent annual that just came out this kind of a Jakarta. I mean he's. It kind of a fine line I don't want to be a completely unlikable. You know jackass but -- and he's he's got his faults to him to you know. After overstated it. And -- finally Jim and I is the latest lucky tells that is pretty high concept yet Jim is he's kind of it's."

" Berger who doesn't know we superhero is a normal guy who's basically being green watched quite some mysterious organization to be a hero. And every every time it each -- adventures over. They wait his mind he has no memory of ever having -- it's a picture so he's kind of has to separate personalities the hero and civilian air. The stories about him learning what he is and how this came to be so just by the issues for now. With a definite ending. And it just came out even happier the sponsor gas supports -- and we've got the exclusive emerald city tradition here at at the show with you know exclusive cover. And it's it's moving fast so far and it's it's good you know would it felt good to have the hook him up this week. At the same week of the show we thought well we should be something special since it's my own show so."

" They got three titles I mean and and -- I mean imagine is more common or is -- prolific recently. And it just timing again and I've got a book coming on top."

" Count this summer are called urban myths that's part of their pilot season. That's just one shot so far you know hopefully it'll when there piloted the contest to become an ongoing. But do the series win right now it's just to stop you look at my back with a little bit of -- dodged bullets here at fire birds and and yet just concentrating on I mean it's. Rating three books is he's tough enough but I'm also having to edit them and traffic government and make sure -- together in the right time and so that takes -- more time that I thought Edwards so I don't want any horse here he's right now."

" So I was first exposed -- when you're you're working marvel on now you're kind of do in the image thing in the crater at that you think they'll ever go back to the that they can that they do it it would have to depend on it had to be the right character."

" In the right editor of the right artist you know what I'm not to do it just you don't have to do feel an issue on. Whatever the you don't just to get mighty mighty pizzeria to recover it yeah I really you know I'm not pursuing work there but if the right combination of stuff happened maniac and I upon."

" The solid the softball -- at the -- of the entrepreneurial bug -- never -- go back and I mean I mean no great -- to but -- a couple of characters that I would like to it to -- within you know -- I would like to do I want it with them and art -- considerate so I'm here at large brown. Author creator of north world ceremony. North -- there is that these quick with a hand. On can you explain very briefly what north world leaders on north rose as a modern day fast story and those people like us who carry -- and we would fight giant animals. And the first volume north -- Conrad must return his own town of by a demon at same time as ex girlfriend's wedding. I think it now how long he had this planned out for -- billion isn't big epic tale. Well I've got ideas -- epidemic. See when we get to that that person. Connoisseur is going to be two books an -- much -- short stories that develop this world. If people. The north experience. Now now long time I've been -- you'll mayor recognize your name and artworks lately because you you were the winner of the first in what wallpaper contest. What was that like for you. You know I'm an -- moments like. It's everything it's been land was like a slight -- I I I got the you know it's like all my dreams they had it come true and I'm not saying it. But since then things that kind of -- operate. They have I can't deny it's. It is it invigorated everything about my heart's. I do you guys just everything clicked and and the Senate that feels that it feels all right that's very good. And so so what's it like for guy. You know he started doing your own comic on the web and then it's getting published night here to -- you've got the book in front of you like how houses. Also this is also I'm super happy. That. At people come up emulate there is like you're yeah I come up they touch my face. And and that's my -- Yeah actually. It's kinda disconnect this I have great readers they don't know they they read comic and likened. They let me now but they don't complain them very cool."

" in Seattle few days -- sort of acclimated to the whole environment culture and everything backwards is Ron here hey I love it here you looked you looked very much Seattle -- now. Also -- gigs that are on you can become. -- I have to come off but just got a job at Starbucks assistant manager right or at least they got -- benefits through -- front it was the work that's when I get off work a concert earlier had -- real wells Josh on the actually Josh. Heard hasn't hit an interview with. Right in the -- Microsoft tomorrow right -- higher Italy -- really really come to Seattle we only now -- part of the part of the -- compliment for us -- account."

" for you. I married any through an artist on on various works but you've got fire breather coming out right fire breather it's an awesome adventure series. It's about a high school late kid who's half human and half dragon. And his parents have shared custody it's overseen by the government. So. Two weeks out of the month his mom's trying to make sure he gets his grades and stay in school. And the other two weeks is dads trying to teach -- BB king of the monsters. And that this but cannot allow -- it's part of the image university I mean does this this exists in the same universe is like invincible and everything. It exists in that that universe if if we see fit. It's a sort of that it certainly shared universe that's kind of like. You know cared if you want don't shared if you don't want and -- things though but we I think we are going to have at some point in the future we are. Some kind of an invincible crossover grade situation so I guess they're in the same universe record in this that this is ongoing from from here on out yes -- comes out in. Couple weeks -- to the printer right now very cool on so let me ask you worked on marvel team up with Robert Turkmen. And -- but when he was when he was barely known. -- the ideal when he was when he was extremely lower case Robert Portman as he actually published. A book that I get called -- man to come from guerrilla. Way back in the day. I'd hear this book -- so I hope this is insensitive but what is it about marvel team up that book can't can't it can't survive. It must beam me up. I don't think that actually when I got tired they knew they are going to cancel it already I got hired -- that you want to do the last exit. And I really don't know I had a great time -- say it was a cool. It was a cool book I think the you know I think the problem. With any kind of book like that that doesn't have like a main character going through every issue. Is that people sort of don't know. What to grab on to as far as you know. An ongoing thread I guess that makes I mean that's the thing about the book that I thought is continually surprising were you would introduce freedom ring. And then and then really messed him up I mean was -- your direction on those like making that was all Robert -- he basically just had this idea of this character who would be. You know get these super powers and then. They just sort of you know. The opposite of what always happens in comics is to get the super powers and they learn how to use them and they fight crime he was -- trying to learn how to use them and just get his ass kicked the so. But I mean I that's all Robert -- you'd have to ask him about that. -- like -- on them I will thank you very much appreciated and good luck with up by everything going forward look with your -- there. I needed thank you going to be huge with big daddy. And that's the colors that at home now never to now on your estimate. Just on I've been envoy. Declared form --"

" They were going to take a minute talked about a sponsored graphic audio. Graphic -- great innovative kind of audio books provider they've got CD's and the -- W amazing download around that got tons of titles and over 300 action adventure and science fiction titles a lot for -- fans -- the newest release is -- exterminators and previously they -- the crisis at a 52 -- if you watch a graphic -- head over to graphic audio dot net and music to -- like gambling get 40% off your first purchase it's pretty cool --"

" Yeah yes we're we're acting -- couldn't you humor good ago. We are we're here -- Robert Turkmen. Are big daddy -- elect column. You better -- that's right that's right and and Riley who has. Who's had such a line you you can't stop drawing -- yes -- right -- Now so what we're calls. That's that's ethic -- there. Com so you have like the biggest lot of -- of the entire time on an Independent superhero book. That way you call buying and as I am I've seen on an Independent superhero book I'm saying -- You're kicking ass with a book it is -- that's commendable Horton thank you thank you think it's it's good book it is a very good book you've got issue fifty coming up. She fifties and -- now for awhile wearily and we're trying to remedy how the possibility of drawing all the time. -- She fifties to issue 51 has done by the time -- fifty ships I think fifty to 53 lead and so. We have had a very large gap between forty and fifty which you know. If only we could go back in time and -- and you know whatever what's done is done but. Hopefully you know going forward we should be all right thanks for bringing it. Appreciate that we'll keep going to the -- it's what we did not -- all week put this behind him in the here when it's on the and -- can begin its its billing guys here. And -- hear it. Let's say that you got paradigm shift coming up and everything's gonna change yeah he's going to change anything just a little about what's going to happen again we had a constant change we -- a working. Relationship change. And vegetables the work for the government and until now doing government work -- invite the bad guys in the film the fly here at the time to fight. -- going to be changing hands and Sonoma you know the new book so exciting to talk to networking he's going to be great we're gonna do. We always talked you've been on the show you like -- Steve Martin. Our Alec Baldwin that. That's network yeah. You know like Steve Martin. Steve Martin's. -- that'd be able to draw a little bit different costume and just -- and -- a little after all these issues that's so cool he's he's doing yes I'd. -- it's it's political team is more. Spotted blacks had to do -- let's -- is he intimidating is that what's happening and I can totally taken easily. Let's play yeah I think we should find out right. Let's do it. -- happen cool. So I asked it to you didn't calls constantly from marvel and DC trying to take you away from this property now. Now. You wouldn't you would leave for any reason. Now because I'm I'm looking at -- and just think it and he's yet but when it's it's of this. How long -- how long how much longer do we have to go this plan now for a long time just to infinity fifty -- It's. Because some incidents that it's pretty. And yes yes I mean you know -- Orion Alan's going to god I'm I'm in it for the long -- what about you. Look at them. And then I'll call you and me on the record that's there now I mean you know I think both have a lot of fun let's be series here. It's a fun book it's it's you know it's it's it's doing well we like it I don't know I -- for thousands of issues -- you know thousands right. -- thousands if Dylan something. Okay that he got him under contract that frankly I don't I don't I -- I -- yards -- contract but it. I'm filling a lot of subtext going on right now that I don't know anything eventually leaving the book with an -- haven't told him yet so. Oh you'll find somebody else. I'm sorry we enjoyed your work up to now thinking right. I think is there anything else you'd like to you got a billion what's going on this double the next man."

" It's Vista ultimate and ninety -- issue very excited to see what's coming up next is that on the right it did -- I like that book I was -- before I started writing it now it's like dispirited again it's a mechanical. It's that's exciting forming in pilloried and kill or even killing Byron black -- and punching punching and kicking. It's going to be awesome -- saying well it's a different reality it's kill or even in the future finding. Everyone's favorite artifacts from the marvel universe we -- can't shield shown up the -- hammer we get -- Hawkeyes below. Again -- else's underwear it's it's going to be pretty awesome as a practical stuff going on I mean it's it's really going to be cool book I'm very excited about it so. CN that's coming up -- and I got to destroyer Macs come with quarter walker on aren't that's going to be a MacBook and at all kinds of blood and guts. That's going to be exciting at the astounding wolf man on on an image. I'm busy god again hey I added a series called bridge that comes out from image on a fairly regular basis you know. And like on on that book called the walking dead that I mentioned walking and I may have heard of it. I may have heard it that it that it Frankenstein their players like that I do stuff like illustrate captain America for Ed Brubaker. I'm actually doing. A third of the pages that are appearing in secret invasion right now so I use are taking on co writers is that the new thing that's than you think writers -- I don't know I'm Q like seeing my name in print and having another ramp that would make me angry though. Now the -- writers will I think we can't talk lawyers out journalist friends -- if there's if they had taken credit they can write whatever they want from me put it. They credit thing that's that's really the thing about me."

" Right arm I can't imagine we've got anything left talked about -- you don't need -- I'm good as a show -- that shows it to good show I'm proud of it. It's like watching it's it's enjoyable that would you say it's the bishop. It's pretty good. The best -- get a non -- do other shows they're probably going to watch this it's by far the best those other guys who. But. Not to have to allow for you guys have Mike actual like stuff. Other people don't have this you know what is that that's all like this is not a -- here it's -- paper it's actually -- plastic thing I mean final. It's nice in an -- plastic that I am very impressive well. I hope you have a good rest your show I had a great you make -- and test and and why you finish another drawing -- time. And colored it. -- issue fifty. And the bulk. The he's going issues those hostages -- final crisis. They announced that monster on this it's gone. Can really clean here I don't know what it is about Pacific northwest Seattle. The other places to waste -- very nice and."

" That's on here the great Matt Wagner native man you know I'll join and then we'll city gone -- the liberal and Oregon also -- has -- in my local and at that sell on the coming off of the twentieth anniversary Randall last year to this year how is that whole experience or."

" It was it was terrific and it was the 25 place their thoughts I had. A boulder in Ireland that epithet at him. It was you know in a lot of we launched its new series gold -- It's Timorese he's -- out. And of course to the big coffee table art of Crandall book which Internet fan idealists and and we have some others that figure for this year than it just continued. The whole PR blitz so and so how has the reception to beyond that though is on -- and then it's -- let's you know went back to the original granddaughter does and I'm writing and drawing and so. And it's been you know. Unlike the first veteran's story which was delighted he'd just hold. Almost an illustrated novel with very design he approach with blocks of text is more traditional kind of stories and opening up a little broader. And so we get to see more of them underused as being in his and as self and then -- is thing and a lot of stuff that's only implied in the first -- to actually see come to fruition in this book so."

" It grumbles one of those characters who who has got such a -- fan base and it's great to see a lot of the archive material come out a lot of the previous stop it. I mean 25 years with the long run it is it. -- he'll have a book that's had such a solid. Point in in the comics industry in the end up Andy's going to Brazil."

" Then again I mean them because got a huge line and then you know I AM. One of the keys that success I decided early on to adapt and adopt this. Period continually reinventing the character -- that was the only way I could see keep it fresh for myself that I always figured it. If it's not pressure me it's not be fresh for the -- hands. So as a result of that. It's continually open and I never seem to run out of ideas -- in it's always. It's always something New Zealand that there really is straight so what's in the what's assortment Carriker to the current ongoing area take a break and -- the next story -- will actually be concerning current -- which is different on the futures so. You know Bob and back and forth than discounted keep things. Gourmet -- and unexpected death and him."

" It's slightly above the -- and I wouldn't have been. Exactly how I roll -- you're known for its honorable and -- and you are filled. -- it's argued. The table. That's a that I get back here. We want to you know -- that guy was beautiful had a had a decent shape he said I'm not going to do it and I would actually cut it they've raised it."

" Put their ticket is an aggressive legal enforcement mobilization. In nineteen through June 1 2000 cross country. Thousands of enforcement agencies participating in this campaign to increasing -- use these fatalities are finished. The goal simple to -- equalize but it's about drivers and passengers and always buckle up. So much more risky ticket or worse your wife he'd always remembered it click it -- ticket day and."

" I'm here -- O'Malley creator of the Scott told a series you are innocent so bomb that you kind of blew up. This kind of goods out of the deal now -- mean -- yeah yes apparently. So -- what. The one thing that I was is that when the fourth finally came out this past November on people were Russians and accomplish store and it reminded me of the rush for Harry Potter book."

" X. And -- The you know yet they kind of -- the iron a lot of source themselves the bad news stories in get more next time up at. Right so hum what the challenges we have is describing the book to people so how would you describe toppled him to a new reader. I don't know. It's about a guy call Scott pilgrim his refusal he lives in Canada and he has a life that is. Not that hard but it it's presented as difficult. And down. And it's kind of -- as a video game. And he adds that kind of fight a lot of people in order to to do normal things like data -- That's a romance it's a romance very romantic. But the video against --"

" So -- even I mean I have you been happy with the response the book I mean it's got it's got this huge cult following now in the movies in development as its its its. It's all kind of coming together for him but it yes very unhappy and but at that you guys stop -- so much happier all the at the in the known history books. It's great I'm very happy. -- so the one thing is that it seems it's in the time in between the volumes. Getting him out working on them about how how much time do you put in actually decrease in the book and dreadful script and then draw the pages of Panetta sensible process we just on page -- page."

" I've write scripts -- I'm I'm Eric on the fifth book I just script so I've answered -- in which Adam. Don't start joint that is spent six times. It's you know it's good to excellent Simon and the trying to excellent time to and -- excellent but but no one understands --"

" And I think we understand there is. And so on a lot of you know stop Odom -- character and his friends are an early twenties C is very very relatable -- a lot of the characters kind of is our homes and autobiographical tinge to it I mean they people you know or how much people realize that for the book."

" There's a little bit I've IV aids in like the last 45 years bottom up. But it was definitely. Something like in my early twenties -- here. -- Sometimes I mean you know and -- been optics and thing it's it's it's got fantasy elements you heard of that. Yeah it's is that the recognizable American country."

" It's within the video game stuff in the fantasy aspects of like that has that when you first -- in the book the -- if you have a hard time accepting that are getting -- there was -- just the one thing if you along with it."

" They still views them people them them the bad ones. They're looking at past. You know that's that's on that's their prerogative. It was just some you know it's in my system yes you know the section you music books and all the dirty stuff that people like records like you know. So is Paul's obsessive video games now Morrison -- later I'm I'm not obsessed. I I I and it's obvious as being in theaters like ingredients that empowers them like adults look. But you know the only one he gathers and finds out really hoping to play act that -- one day it went down about it and that -- out right now."

" So -- so they're going to be seven books total in the series is that the plan 666. Yes. On the second right now. It's very exciting. So how how it's -- as exciting as it was when it in the first and you more kind of just you tennis again insight you want to move on our it's -- it's but I'm still critics of the story here and you know green altogether -- one big arc. So so what has been your favorite kind of thing that's come from do in the book from you know like. Experience sir -- this -- that's definitely -- equally. Meets interest. It's an interest in the same things it's it's really constantly anchored. It does trip to see a movie people get their hands and your characters in -- can hear what there aperture if it's -- really weird I mean if it happens like. -- okay. Jury decided the country definitive edition come out few weeks ago from divisive every reading it in the midst of all the more when we gonna -- Did. Let's see where are we now it's may of 2000 and aids. I would expect early twenties and there."

" I want to do the next classifieds got to come out first and that's communities to classified. There are going to follow that up with a series to the part of the proceeds to -- that Nicholas god promised me she wrote draw the first -- Except she's exclusive to DC right now and every time I start to like reach out and -- like I'll get the -- to do that -- amounts and I can't get a very -- at Tampa Florida within timers and yeah it's that time we'll past and you know the idea and breaking is there a couple couple reasons for with a -- not least of which being with that it's so. The series is so contingent on the real world. But the problem is that there's a lag between you know the world doesn't stop at Phoenix's. So. Chase you needed to age but obviously put an age. Properly because otherwise you get a hero who goes from you know mid twenties to forty like that and and and realism has to follow the story so. Part of it part of part of the object in the in in stopping. And the starting a second series. Is -- Sort of make a clean break with the pepper with the past with that -- And then that set up in the status quo -- the status quo in the in the states is getting very different they you tell I've got out of my head I know exactly -- bit -- that they just writing anymore novels the like had for the person to compete here casket up the good ones. I'm finishing up the new Kodiak now which should be out summer on nine. I suspect though I'm not a 100% committed to. That the novel a follow. This next -- with will be the next UNC novel. You know at this going to make your brain explode all the stories that you don't get out it's funny because they know the story would be for the novel that is sort of the bridging story -- So. We'll see a lot of it depends actually -- resurgent I can get the China. Probably credit."

" Let's we talked to Steve Lieber last year the same vein wideout. For -- working on another one and he was excited about the movie just visit the set. But even that yeah -- are out there together actually it -- it was exciting to see you you know and I swear you can (%expletive) absolutely."

" Representatives of mind on the ticket it's it's a very strange thing to walk around a sound stage of Montreal. And see. People. Looking like Steve Lieber drying time sets that look like Steve -- draw lines but our real. The first time I -- back can sell a scarier guy and I know a lot of -- like oh she's too pretty to be here right. And and and I don't know how to put this -- that you look at the ready yet so keep -- in those hands down one of the most beautiful people I've ever seen in my life. Quite literally walked in saw her coming offset it was like America and it painfully pretty. And yet. Painfully pretty coming upset in cost -- as -- with the way and everything. And looks like here. I don't -- assuming that they do but it was it was remarkable how much she actually looks like the character that Steve true. So you know I mean this story has the story that it needs to be removed you can go white out you know if you took the authorities that we did. And and set up that's -- shot for shot you'd have won a short film to really bad on it would suck. Because the comic is able to work in ways that don't -- a different medium and and I get really go to people don't acknowledge that so. You know -- been revealed the other since September. I don't have. That there were really excited that I suspect around San Diego Garcia publicity. From this lead into more -- with Steve's. Just about to destroy the first issue of white out night which is our third and last flight out. Our our attitude on the set it was always we we used to joke and say well we do third when if they make the movie. Is that it got to make them live in Austin Stephen -- He ends. So we always we always knew that the last thing we had a -- story and an. -- industrial galvanized coffins. In now with a heavy rivet handles and the slug B -- leaving the ice the only question is now. So we always -- would be your last normally you know you have don't sound coming up -- gala -- is doing the knowledge on I don't know people ask me about -- PI series. It's some. I can't -- when I was a kid this is. This is that everybody is like watching this like my. I that I would Tiki. -- is a different strategy you know everybody else is -- comic books on the floor I would sprinted home from school. And if I can make it you know if if who's a good day if I needed like in its third fourth grade. If I ran and notes that I would get home. Just as. The answering machine in the -- the Rockford Files and pick up the great show. But but I had to get that the scene -- tonight and if if I kinda right out hit the TV just in time here is Jim Rockford at -- on the grenade and that's the dog -- that yet. And that's what this -- that is. You know I cut my teeth broken comatose to tiara. And a lot of people still think of me as a young writer I love the genre. I think it is a uniquely American zone. Rumpled detective. You know and and in the night -- I mean these that's what these stories carry you know and and I was going to rip my dissertation in college on Raymond Chandler to itself. You know this is what it is it's just it's just my take of the on the Rockford Files that if if you were to do but still like Rockford except for 2000 -- It doesn't have gimmicks that doesn't have gags it's not like -- he's an obsessive compulsive detective who could see dead people but only -- Rockfish you know doubt that the act is just -- guys just to PI -- gets beat up. Sometimes gets things right sometimes beats people up and returned. But it in that longs."

" Ending tradition of Rockford Rockford never came out ahead but he always landed on his he. And even death that's of this is that a lot of that I think about it we don't have a lot of just standard yeah -- story though they're gone now than they used to be we at Rockford and then. Rockford begat magna. And Simon and Simon and and that -- to sort of stop and you must watch some TV -- now I don't -- run almost -- I'd open the edit them. They cut them out like outside I'm now I told them to keep that I have in my dvd enough on up that late and opera comes on when put through and what am not going to -- three and -- the problem is -- How about it so now I got I've got off by season's that -- I've been watching them over and sort of like but it. You know it's it's funny Matthew and I have talked about will probably do this around issue seven -- is UA. Related car chase. We're gonna do thirty page purchase. A little bit like you know the first four pages we'll be that quick get in the car and that get in the car and that the rest of the issues. Get a BS trying to figure out how you do a good car -- it comment because it. It shouldn't be able to do it must like to drop cars. -- circulates in a lot of lot of writers don't like to see I'm -- to drive cars as much as he's excited at the challenges that. So this isn't going to be ongoing unit and Andy yeah it's an ongoing we've got to do it in each store America's forests is. Each issues thirty pages in color. And the plan has to do four on four off moron -- that starting September you'll get the first -- that you went in September. When he support comes out we'll take four months off and then you get its its 567 -- and now the other end of the spectrum you have a final crisis coming out. 8999 bucks. I mean not good at numbers. You don't rightward that. On -- progress but yeah I'm principal ways in which it via president of the -- wideout in perspective you know you can't really write stuff with the Specter of owning. -- August. By this news thirty pages it's starting sound familiar. It's one of the final crisis times. It basically came about with. Dan and -- asking me did you do street level. And I said no. Actually it doesn't sustain you can't get a mini and it. And mr. Titus more of them we kind of what are the Specter. And kinda with -- as a way to get some of what we had hoped. Christmas as the Specter would have -- Following. Infinite crisis and that frankly didn't execute. So it's it's a five issue mini series it is in the shadow pharma prices you don't have to read it to understand final prices. But you -- compress to understand it now. Now I think I think we'll go all stand on their I think together you know they built to a to a greater all. The -- is one of the smart thing to thing to do Delphi out of crisis this uses you know there. They're riveting. Those things that are feeding into it there aren't that many things. To this this you know revelation which is sort of in the region three worlds. And let him go to thirty page one -- final crisis resist. Which is going to be written by. There -- over the myself. And it. You know affidavits have been attention making trying to guess what the heart of that resistance is going to be. That. And and then -- degree of either there's other stuff coming out and I'll have the saga. How does the does this work if the -- that it was not something that way you do is going to happen when -- in the series and Jeff Jeff and I talked about it and he admits -- do it. And bitter over a number of good."

" Good reasons for doing it could do strong logical ones. I think frankly you know I mean no bones about this I think we've you know the DC's been. White male for too long. And that's not to say that you know there's a place for the white males of course there it's but. We live in a more the first world that we live in the world that acknowledges that diversity comics he just are reflecting that. So you know when Jeff proposed making theoretically the most powerful person in the DC you know. The black guy."

" I kinda dug that might my biggest regret to was. And it was once it's a news going to die anyway I sit back and forth like we've got a positive male African American role model here he's going to die. You know with the perfect -- exactly so it is he can run it that. On the thing you know I mean it's such as we talk about things they wanted to promote diversity it's that are set at the end of the day. That doesn't matter what matters is is the character of to a character right. And it doesn't matter if you know there there handicap or blind or in now can fly a plane backwards upside down in the middle of hurricane. The question is are they do it. Character. And Chris is a very good character. It's execution a Specter hasn't been laws so we're going to try that one of the things we do in the mideast kind of address that. And we introduce a new concept that I the way it is that -- And finally daredevil and on the lifting it well we assume you -- think about how cool that is if you think the Specter. Raiders literally like I have -- power and the the other question is like -- IQ it maybe you -- down in. I love that exit does this herald an -- such -- competent -- and that got a history -- doesn't you know. The Specter says that was his studio like. You know about that how would see him you know I mean there's no way -- it around. -- Crawford coffee yeah you know you have a hard time convincing -- that she's a superhero that's true. -- finally you do get a lift with the group victory back together some -- artist name Michael large users like that it got central thread that runs through it yet that's. Ed calls me and says do -- expensive anymore -- and it's and I actually is that them. The exclusive Vermont's Jesus you looked at -- tell me I'm like pioneer man I'd. And so on deadline I got like three were at -- the shotgun. He did help me now let it be great. This is actually yards right anymore if whenever because that Karl Carter Coretta now if you just sit there a plot and the he absolutely right we have it's that. -- the greatest thing I've really you know he said you want to tolerate this in the -- that sort forest and -- not at the Michael's -- drive. -- the -- Scalia. And that's that that's a no brainer. In -- your interpretation get back together with the team now. And I mean we always worked really really well together and I've missed mr. working with both. There are usually aren't many artists like Michael lark in the industry. And and I am simply you know in terms of artistic style -- He's really gifted storyteller he's really very very smart. He is the guy who always brings something to this threat. You know -- an -- I never really had any any trouble at all when we were collaborating at central. And it was kind of surprising how capitalist this was definitely. About. We're at it again here at which pages do you want I'll take these pages you when he's in Florida tight you know at any moment to talk to a regular account thank you."

" Sun today. And of the day were out here in the smokers' lounge. -- winding down. Seattle -- in the books that most of the kind of existence ASEAN that city on the Senate come out enjoyed tonight's on the atmosphere of Seattle is beautiful here we're relocating the it collects. -- If time had mile fun times would became as great -- is going to show a lot of great people I I thought it was great how accessible traders were. You know you know are sellers really packed and it was really does publicity not a big news a lot of extra small -- Very personal. Yeah right up close the people. Over cost -- an -- on the all right so I -- enjoy the show be sure to check out our other shows that revision three duck complex last night ambush. And check out I think what I found for older comics. Talk activity questions about the -- city to honor any comments or at least -- up the email said Condit that I Campbell dot com our calls on the voicemail 188 and boys it's 1883262697. Let's I'm gonna go get back my shift at Starbucks. You know like a band practice that's a litigate this in -- time."
