" You're listening to the iFanboy particularly podcast episode number 200 sponsored by -- media Squarespace and I family members like you."
" Welcome to the I can't what did we podcast episode number 200 come back to live from Jim -- universe in Manhattan in New York City."
" that does that all the time that -- that I I'm Robert tourism joined as always by conical Patrick Vogt and Josh Flanagan -- And for those who might not be in the know we are from I can't but I comets is website -- a -- books and there we read a lot of comics and every week we read a bunch of books that came up. And one of us has the pleasure picking the pick of the week. And writes a review of it overnight and what I common and normally we gather in our respective homes and talk over Skype about the books that came out with this week this is the 200 episode. We are here in Japan the universe do it in from all -- folks so thank you for coming. Before we get started we're gonna talk about what happened in the comics so you haven't read your conflicts yet if you're listening press pause if you're here. You might want to cover your ears or something."
" I've got back to restore the spoiler warning that it but. So just be terrible we might also reported. This week Josh of the -- and -- handed off to him."
" Yes what an interesting read a comic books because. Normally weird. Daily news by by dark -- in blackest night policy and this week was all everything else this is an awesome week it was a really neat week if you like that kind of thing but if you don't -- probably not as happy. Com turns out I do. I'm confident. So my pick of the week was get to me this week at number one from vertigo it is big third of their series of one dollar first issues and I was really really looking forward to this for a long time for a few reasons one there there's not -- not one of -- wasn't. -- touched by Essex County that the trilogy that he did in an overtime. You just see more more people pick it up and it. It's really significant work and on heroes in this book if you haven't read Essex County had they just released the volume of all three stories in one -- and trade in -- to have it here keeping Maggette get it it's probably one of the best books are collections is gonna win nicer next -- That's the only thing that we always do business at an event listings that we've never gotten one. But I wanna be -- me just went that -- well there's a reason. -- So this book coming out -- could -- but it's interesting because it's a side by book -- elevator got a very short. That's not a -- and nobody for for vertigo and it was a it was a little out of his comfort them but still. You could see that this similarity to the work -- this is like a full line. Boy -- deer antlers science fiction post apocalyptic story that seems to be pretty -- to set it up before and it's not going which -- never done before so. I was really looking forward to it plus here's your inside baseball we talked to some people from DC. I'm in San Diego and they were like they elect you understand how good the book is really go to whatever you know but like no one issue three. It's gone on paper and they were very excited so I had very high expectations for it however I know that I read did you premier book. It's not a book you're gonna read and go. I do not gonna turn the page the home. It doesn't work like that it's very subtle and it's it's it's very emotional. It breaks -- quiet way they're really quite books so when I got it I read everything else I started thinking about the stuff that was making -- You don't think about it afterwards and it went back and read it again this is easily the best thing that I read this week and also just it's a really good book for people to try out and one dollar."
" I gambled that person that's a dollar so like -- has been doing is they're number one issues like that everybody has a dollar. Like it's wet and the much snapple cost more than a dollar but is no excuse not to pick this up -- just given a shot. And the great thing about what the Mir does is that like guest just it's like the the the elevator pitch for the story is like Bambi meets mad max. Yes because the kids got Amber's and so post apocalyptic but what's great is that you know -- has a subtle like emotional aspect to a stories like kids in his line yet."
" Just as for whatever reason likely look at artwork it's not he's generally right but like there's just this. All consuming emotion that's coming through his drawings for whatever reason and it's -- talent we have -- but she -- the speed of light -- what you can put out book -- easy it's it's no problem for him. You know in the bucket I like about this book that I don't really know anything about it ran like at this point in this issue I don't know very much we know that there is. Me. I just like a reservation or preserve and there itself there was an accident something happened something happened and no other kids are being born except for a few -- the ones are our special their hybrids which is assuming that this kid Gaza's one of them and for some reason. He has. Dear features up for some reason such as him his dad living in the woods and he tells -- the rest that -- Press the world's evil you got the Bible and each other we're good. -- in the dad dies and then some hunters come and and where. In another -- that's basically what happened and it -- and the thing is that like like Essex county and the nobody were kind of complete graphic novels this is an ongoing. On a monthly basis so like this is just a taste of what I'm used it would implement -- do you still a complete story and there was there was that's true that there was -- of others aren't comfortable quiet scene at the dinner table yes. But is it definitely does better than anybody seen it yet Essex County you commitment put."
" I'm gonna take a slice. It up -- wear white blue I like the solid force our -- get into. And what but. I think with color his -- is really diminished. -- really much more powerful and it's starkly black and white yet this is his first colored work and was able Reuben is one of the best colors -- art needs -- black and -- actually elected to target its books weight really powerful would those people yeah. -- nobody asks counting you know beautiful movement and it's good but I just feel like it's sort of almost -- Which is ironic that -- economy class anyway it's that nobody liked it when it's black white the black is really starkly black whereas here it's -- so it's not it's. Yeah it's not historically black. Now the big news. We've got used to reach to reading him in that novel form and it where you really immerse yourself in the story I was so slight. There's -- yeah yeah when it went really fast really that really weird things like government. Cots and what made it didn't really to invest yourself in pictures and stories and I was over. I want more but I also if you look connected to a."
" Right now and a lot and that's the challenge with the ongoing versus the graphic novel because really get 22 pages this story and and like we said we spoke to the folks at DC they said by issue three inches is gonna blow your mind. You know so you've got -- you've almost got to commit to those three issues to get to that point. I'm wears a graphic novel you're getting all want to -- on the negative just let me finish. Brett and his failure to sit in the middle. This fact. But not I like the color is the first -- work we've seen from Lanier and I was little -- nervous about oval nestled pages online when I -- as -- up I was happy that."
" In the beginning of it it's all very. Stayed it's very calm and as action starts that pick up in the danger comes up like the angles recanted a little more and you start to see. That the artwork tick slightly different. Tone to it there's just a little more exciting a little more scary. And as a lot more upshot some things like that and in this is to visual way of of -- us that. You know should get Harrier now."
" well and the -- ran into the thing about Ramirez is pacing because he's writing and drawing it's a he's controlling the pace on both levels and and he's taking you through the story at the speed he thinks that you should go. Com which is a subtle kind of ability that not enough when it's done really well you don't notice it was -- poorly kind of -- zealots -- comment. And given a single issue format for the pacing was great. And I'm really sad because like from a team standpoint. A lot of Lanier's kind of like his his. His wheel house is that. Source at the small town so I guess is counting is in a small town Canada and on the whole idea small Hamlin in the nobody was in a small fishing town my big mouth whenever it is. But for some reason I was in Wisconsin I don't know why that goes I don't know where but but the idea this is that you know you've got this this freakish dear boy. Guns didn't Gus he's been living in seclusion in a small town and now his -- guys."
" He's got into and it. Shaq yeah. Be right exactly but now -- around it he's gonna he's gonna. Go into society -- go into you know he's gonna travel and it's gonna become like a -- book where he's gonna move out of that small town into a big world and I think the thing is I'm excited to see what that world looks like threat because he's obviously going to have to go lot of things that he's done before -- You know and it's an interesting metaphor for the journey just when you're -- as a -- because now he's going from what he's got enough morality analysis. -- now is we're not."
" And now he's working for DC comics and and doing vertigo books and you know and not that I interviewed jets and San Diego and I asked the candidate interview you know you do -- these in the books the innate desire to do superhero book and he kind of grinned and said well -- area. So somebody might be in the works and the super -- world can get -- green lantern which is really it's a stretch we don't."
" You have trouble picking the -- of the week this week. Not really excellent excellent well it was an -- week there were a lot of four is there a lot of a lot of things that are pretty good but not blow you away at into the wasn't like that issue that it took three tries finished my books with me. -- you know he's a -- what -- weakened -- knows a great week coming up that meant nothing really stood out. Big time but it lot of like good. Read snapping reveal what what is it just."
" Now with all that everybody knows the news about marvel and Disney is up like that that there was no like what brought. There was no that did leave a mark seven times there was no I don't know I'm -- it'll kick back to call back there was no front line to marvel book that came out this week like if somebody heard the news on Monday at Disney but marvel went to college -- show -- the latest Marvel Comics look. It was like -- else. Well you know like they're like erratic and it looks like last week but still be true yeah I know my blood isn't the worst job. Though we got paper. This from work but Letterman. But those -- really departs it was a diverse we -- there was I think there was some really good stuff on. He revealed a number six came out from movie studios which is mark way to Peter -- You know continuing the story last last issue was she five was -- issues of with -- did you -- that. I just -- with every issue this gets better -- better in my -- I think."
" It's been another yeah you can see a noticeable improvement retailer which I've always liked the beginning but. This is because -- my favorite series yeah and I really can't decide why I think it's because it's beautifully twisted mess up we've been marquardt."
" Yes and and what's great is that I mean for those are reading the book it's about what if I Superman type character goes mad and it turns evil and starts doing all his you know his co Euronext and killing everyone. Arms and each issue and it's being told an issue format as being told in such a way that you get this little. Compacts the worry about his descent into madness while keeping the bigger -- moving. And this was the one of the first on that other really touched on some of the bigger things that made him go walking down math and that was me I assume that the very. Seen in the very beginning with him syndicated yeah yeah he's like a little lower declaring it's -- the -- logo there that there. -- don't get all the details of the -- when many first -- powers for Obama yeah yeah I thought killer with a spike. Maybe he did I don't deserve it let's I think he did. Wow I."
" I think that's you just."
" And I just think the juggling between the the present and the past and you know what though those are beat up. And telling that -- story is not easy mark wade is probably one of the best writers out."
" it's from the ninety's he was a big big -- sort of fell off. In the last five years -- 52 but this is sort of -- and his -- immunity and then he knows what he's doing with the senator about Syria is especially with these you know moral leaves so far off -- comfort -- Yeah it's like old school guy it's like he did what he did like the bubble preventable and all like. Deep continuity -- every character from the toy box and know everything about this is just as more Irish has yet to market and then I did like when they when his former super team the other heroes are trying to view with -- issue -- of the other here to try to get away because they wanna -- I city. Yes they don't die so. This this issue they escaped to his secret lair which is in the middle of walking you know. And in the middle -- I'm floating in the lobby only teleport into but I like there's a shot the aircraft are shot of the building on the hide out in the Martino and there's like a statue. -- Jimenez logo like it's -- in the little touches like that make this like this realize universe that. Yet undiscovered with the Egyptian those of the big."
" Kind of comic book ideas that mark wade does really well remembered because I had written for awhile like outside of 52 I think that preventable thing was the first thing I've ever been awhile. And like I remember just being struck over and over by the imagination yet and -- that's one of the things he does really well on this is the book that he's. Like at first I wasn't sold on and let us think it like it I wanna see what happens run it and now I'm I'm totally sold -- it's really good enjoyable look."
" Obviously they haven't caught up the first trade is like 999 flex -- she's wanted for you obviously an issue five and get this issue. It's great you know book from -- studios and kind of publisher they -- and you know maybe now this after the Disney deal. That's right exactly so -- deal to cut out articles and it's gonna really every book every book on -- book real funny what. -- Okay how that would that that one of the books that I considered a thought about -- your number fourteen to validate yourself to. Just to why investors just going to love me do something happens that's the way thanks everybody. Universally was pick of the week last time it was on and it's funny because this is really gets it was really good but this was part four of five. And it was a radical departure from where word three like you went to complete a complacent what is -- is it not -- But it was still a hell of a lot of fun there was there was a pages that page and it -- bomb. A -- look at and again -- what I have to -- the times what it wasn't exactly happy with the newest via. Matches if they they turn and earn apple bash is to a fan and it covers all the characters in this scene -- dust. It and I've never seen a page done this way like I was like that's a new not complicated it's okay victory bootable C yet was it was a really fun page but I think."
" What's so great -- you wouldn't white shoes like the surprise of the summer's. Layman the writer and rob you're an artist are coming up of something new every issue that is completely unexpected last issue is that he could lose the lose the woman the food critic. This issue is the idea of this. -- Antarctic. Base that is like a what's a planetarium or stuff like he tells you placing their observatory thank -- So there's an observatory and the idea being that the government has funded them and they've given them thirty million dollars and they show up and there's like a bar and strippers. -- How."
" That is like this idea of what does -- know like all these little things in the government that are way over funded what would really happen and you know like this this little universe that gonna edit my theory yes it did and that's what I think at the end I was like wow that's. That was -- we know it. What's the book the book what from a casino realistic kind of cop kind of thing about Jason and you know illegal food substance and by the end of this issue now we've got -- science fiction -- I can't I didn't see coming on this particular angle that -- like that and beginning animal -- she -- be drugs some kind of gotten what it does. Did he ultimately was early to start making departure but it may be trying to it was one of those things where. I've heard some things about how far can this go how long they take this in this is you see. That there is somebody stories be told in this world some things that they can do. You know -- these guys and that's the thing is that we worry about this book is that how far can it last because of this there's this great concert you tell somebody the ideas and that's great idea but how can you stretch that sixty issues in the case based sort of graduation. -- one not a writer. There's nothing else maybe government that's pathetic assault coming. That you was really get yes the last issue Ed Brubaker John Phillips and -- need you know this week."
" And that's the question and yes -- what was the point. What was the point and finish it -- it. -- I -- your mind up about this -- Carolina like the for the first three. We're like okay no no I -- I I -- this after the videotape this is this -- their -- but that -- cable -- that back. She's -- anyone in the light comes on it looked at an event that's active it's on I see everything."
" you could you know a lot tonight."
" We've all these people it's not."
" This was my most I'd -- is my favorite of these issues yeah."
" A couple of reasons it was one of the ones where all of a sudden again -- big science fiction superhero ideas and start the use them he was doing a superhero book before. But it was like a style of criminal and this morning is like an -- let's let's let's have clones and end. That creepy lady who is determined it was always sixteen and then she turned like ninety whatever she was great caught up with -- yes and this is -- neat ideas and some things going on we'll get a good."
" Again I mean like here redeemable this is the creation of the universe that we were so used to reading Marvel Comics DC comics for you know seventy years of con -- Indian stories and not direct continuity with the idea of these you know these characters in these worlds. And like with near the -- which you would -- how -- you know these are examples of writers do something new trying to introduce something -- to go to the lexicon. And I love the idea like this out of this a flashback to. The previous hero that is the main characters somewhat related to through cloning. And it's like I wanna know more about that character like with every kind of reveal."
" I see the complex problem that that every time he heat cramps so much in that we never really -- know anything."
" And he admitted at the end he said that -- the last issue and and I had a hard time isn't it this is the reason why it's excellent finance physical fatter than usual in a -- so -- suffered -- into today not kind of underestimated how many pages -- need. And it just that idea like I wish that. You know -- could tell these dinosaurs all the time because seem like there's a lot of you know good ideas in mind."
" From a yes that an end did not say anyway that John Phillips on my favorite artists this is really strong and every issue that he did this was really really strong and -- the best of them yeah. This a shot -- that is best so. And I mean great page is great layouts in this really good story -- by Shaun Phillips and and the file staples scholars -- probably getting better yet I think and it's so after this they're -- another arc of criminal what century doesn't happen. DA I am happy about it quite happy about that now stuff. So O'Connor you if you're gonna pick particularly what would yours and have been."
" Right now it's strange to us and I don't want -- you're isn't. Which made me laugh and laugh and Latin laughable -- through it."
" And this this is the first time -- on this this Feliciano strange tales is a it's going to be a three issue. Little miniseries tomorrow -- it's like anthology. Where they've gotten a lot of the leading kind of underground and independent operators to do stories of marvel characters which you typically see. -- less than they did this feel like it was like early two thousands. When went -- this it is that. So forget -- up or something we now know four that his -- who did stuff and I forget the title voted on this with a workbook and let you menace India if they asked him. So so in this one we've got I forgot how many stories are but we get paid in human story by Paul Pope. Which is -- reading when they comics musicians ventures like if you have a discover Paul folks. Stuff before -- out checking out because if this. His art is awesome and you begin humans -- likened her. -- I'm going to be the dissenting."
" Look -- it's not like this book but it was like okay and that kind of like I got the feeling like. If I wanna read this -- stop any of these guys stuff I'd rather read their stuff."
" Run and instead of what I'm watching them play you novelty games would with a marvel character we have to send ups and none of these is mean an end in Zoellick I think it this is just. My -- I was reading my books I -- somebody grabbed me and runway. And these were just true reality."
" It's what you'll feel good diversions you know this -- what I like in this most of is some. This is almost like bands who cover songs. A little yeah so Paul holt Paul -- do -- in humans are or Peter baggage doing do Hulk or Jason do Spiderman like you don't. Typically get to see them do that and so made -- yes the novelty but you know I mean James -- hot cold cuts in a passer tropical Chaka. You know that these are great traders the United States -- People get exposed their work by telling a marbles or in the go check out the normal stuff that's good for them today."
" it's good I'm not decrying it all but like that I enjoy it all right it was it was fun I guess I liked."
" Looking at art there more than anything else like that's what it was like from -- the -- me -- this need to see these things but it wasn't like I was like. And -- but that's that's my taste congress Jones-Drew favorites."
" So it's hard to so many of my -- like the Doctor Strange the nightmare one I love the punish her story. And I loved the -- It's the bar -- story -- being humans and an arrow on up to one page Wolverine and these story where -- finally blew guarantee great credentials -- of the bigger."
" Yeah we'll Nicholas Hurwitz who does the very -- Farrell fellowship which is an online comment that dark horse is collected did a bunch of one pages that are of the in his file which are just great. This is very funny. Actor -- I did the doctor strangers nightmare sorry about that -- my favorite that was the one though that was the least expecting and was hysterical it made me laugh like and I love nightmare -- itself."
" II really ISI thought it was a nice diversion nice change of pace and very funny."
" that was good so did but the next issue strange tales I believe the next issue has got a black with a story about -- Kent who did super spy. Which I saw pages from it looks awesome so. To denial that. I support in the months look at -- thank one of our sponsors. Wanna thank -- comics. If you everybody -- digital comics on the iPhone and iPod stuff like that and -- versus one of the leading folks making those. They just released the new version -- application yet for 99 cents in the iTunes music -- with that you get thirty free comics -- via -- I iPod or iPhone is no reason not to. They also recently launched. RT digital dot com which is Archie comics on your iPhone and now after authorities thus it's of the issue the Archie switches back -- back. It's. Huge. So confident in the good high versus. I do Iverson media dot com force us iFanboy and sign up we've got a great offer for everybody on the -- media dot com -- us iFanboy and by the application. You get energy and contest to win a free iTunes gift cards he -- more comics. But if you don't have an iPhone or iPod. On and you're on Twitter as everybody is. If between out. -- anybody if you -- out by September 16. And right -- Campbell and at. At iBurst comics and just say I wanna win an iPod touch or something along those lines we're gonna pick one winner one winner on September 16 to an iPod touch. Don't -- a million times the first time to do it -- entered so we don't wanna be like if they lose of that but. So us attitude that I Campbell and a tigris comics and an iPod touch and we thank congress comics for supporting us."
" Awesome yeah. But moving forward we have more comics still ultimate. Comics Spider-Man they dropped it. Yet in the he -- is ultimate Spiderman awesome I'm so great we're back I'll just -- and number two number Adam sat. The new. Good news. Era -- today -- the point chaos status quo. You still happy. I don't centrist by the -- yes I was a couple of things about this if they it is looks like principles on your sister lives. The ultimatum event and I -- a lot more like his -- he really -- yeah so -- was a word -- you do as a word -- US -- centrist kind of looks like a comic form because it was the principal in this book. But. That was before we get to the story just I -- is on my favorite artists now on this issue totally nailed down to that the decision was even stronger than the last month and we had a ton of action. I love how this in the building blew up in Spiderman like. Jump to the explosion -- for the rest of the book the back of his costumes a burned. I'm actually -- he deserves the -- speed lines tax on yeah. I'm hot commodities -- containers. The commander what is there is really basic got that that what is its long in the front bank look at this like march 2001 because there -- become the only silicon -- fast. I think it is rocket middle America but I'm. No end and exit the speed lines and also love the way he -- wedding -- elected elect looks like this explosion and an artist at Dartmouth is really really good. I coming up are gonna normally I normally don't respond to somebody who mentioned -- Twitter they said. Wow Ronnie said that you know nothing's changed and ailments -- university couldn't be more wrong and I want him. And I went and I thought maybe he's reacting to this issue is a sad that -- position and I was like now with nothing sticking -- ultimatum didn't mean anything to this book and you know are back pass. But I love the new -- I think Dennis here's a classic Erica I'm glad to see ultimate does it looks like -- is doing and and anyway it's not pretty high school students at all picnic set up ready for there. Pick on you bring a big school I'd like -- I didn't. What are on the -- on the -- their young in love you do things like that. Did a lot of stuff to me like --"
" I'm aware with a rose and it it's -- right zoo science nerd that makes sense and then got Tupperware and what bottled water so our eyes."
" And a rug. With -- you've got a story about the crime fighting and obviously -- this when -- that when Stacy she's got a cardinals. I but all the fundamentals again. But those vitamins great. Editor reading resurrection from only press. And its when there on -- things."
" I just didn't read I've been buying an issue freaking out this week -- issue one until I sat -- finally read the mall and I remember when the resurrection miniseries came out and the idea was is Marc Guggenheim who has been writing Spiderman. -- and this is a marvel. Basically the premise was an alien invasion and how the earth deals with that also I definitely have been relatively well -- that this not is unknown story is really after the invasion happens what is life like in the in the world after an alien invasion. Kinda similar to walking dead and like what's life like after his army and maybe it isn't. Writely -- is -- around it -- that aliens are also really dealing with the politics yes."
" reforming your leadership team and in this I mean it in issue necessary yeah. They get Karl Rove being typed characters taken over the government taking over the military witnesses this -- that this happens when Clinton as president that he was the president up and down. So the this -- V character has the us military this business one that -- who's the secretary of veterans affairs and some people think he might be the president in the line of succession really about the government provocative about survival here there's nothing to survive each other -- the did not having to --"
" It almost reminds him like a little bit why last man. A little bit walking dead in terms of the having to reinvent the world and we -- society. I just it it really captured my imagination and moving -- to great."
" I'll use the format how it's one mean sort of flashback stories and bills without and I like this -- a lot because it did and the rose theater to -- constitution not some research and it really visceral reaction. --"
" So weird to me look at that it's it's and only book but it doesn't look like any other anybody I've ever seen it's full -- yeah it looks like comic book. I mean you know as we typically know that right. And as a great and is a great and like I'm examination of the on the idea that the the bad guy never thinks he's a bad guy. As -- you know with a bad guy is an end and with all these people vying for power and and vying for you know rule in the country. I don't Guggenheim is the guy behind that new TV -- flash powered units in as torso the -- pretty good and this is on penetrator a series and it's one worth what we're checking out also early -- issues because I imagine -- and going to be talking about the politics next -- it up yet totally. South. Not a book on the highlight quickly was O'Brien was north Landers is she trying to came out as the first issue of the are with the original artist that he'd -- legion. Please -- there. And you can tell. -- And it's is Marcus Wilson the immoral and it's not going back to the the character from the first. The characters men who returned to his homeland in the big battle happened madness that -- fast forward to his life to the point where he's married has kids. And these vikings have come back to try to kill him in this kind of drug dredging up all those previous you know violence -- that. Just it and it is interesting to see the original creative team twenty issue later after they started to see it now that Brian was way more comfortable writing vikings. Way more trouble with the format to see the original artist in just this kind nice for -- and a kind of remind me when."
" Once I just finished second trip last night yeah. You'll like it right -- Frank -- residents it was a -- until very yeah and it ended -- elegant rushed in and very quickly then it's. I thought I thought before hand the mighty was it was my four runs on this'll be the this'll be the mighty we. It was very good it was very good but it wasn't it wasn't that a spectacular I like that the mighty comes out the same. -- every week easier redeemable because this sort of parallel stories of superhero. Seemingly gone bad at this point we're just waiting."
" This was more about atmosphere yeah because he hasn't really done anything horrible he's he's killed a couple people but. Not a scale model we don't know about it well we've exceeded it right yeah it would not what you do horrible things like unity -- this was more about the encroaching fear and in every issue gets tighter and tighter views waiting by the -- yeah I think that's extremely tense this does this book gives -- before we find out the truth I will kill someone."
" in any danger he canceled I've heard rumors that -- other rumors might have happened to the latest news that you know I hope. I hope it doesn't is because I'm not I'm like I'm just getting rid -- guys got hit us and -- his book the art is amazing artist great and they are his -- book is really good and this is the kind of -- that people should be read. I mean this is I mean this is one every every issue I'd like more than I did before -- and Microsoft that. I think that's one of my favorites is coming out right now it really it's really exciting it's very tense it's very moody and gorgeous -- Johnson covers and everyone of them now I'm really very covers. Check this book out if when and get the traitor -- it -- everywhere yet I think the first issues are here I saw them earlier so you can find them it's worth it very much stuff absolutely."
" Well they really get them back. Threat who come. Cable number eighteen want to tackle the highlight because there was that whole the whole cross over and happened the next horse cable and and."
" It's children about at the bottom but."
" You're reading. It still doesn't extend."
" Anyway so you can -- that. Always uses these great -- the art changed and I really did enjoy the artist the artist was a more classic kind of marvel superhero Gabriel -- had a more kind of classic comic look to it. You know as opposed to. Some cars on before -- you know not crossover is likely crane and are already in those kind of folks. The one thing is that for those who -- DX I know that the main thrust of cable's been him protecting a little redheaded girl was the last -- of them but not Ingraham not Giguere supposedly. But it's -- it's been like over a year and we still don't know -- the girl as we still don't know they're still on the run from bishop flu like it's good to read the comic is good but it's the -- got -- got to move on. But that's the I read it I was like it was enjoyable but I'm timing that started when I was reading -- way back -- more -- that's. So yes so it's that look good -- big guns he's got big guy big guy there now. It's."
" I don't last with -- the last book is a more weapons number. To do mom this is actually can never read any -- iron fist or or more weapons or anything you almost standalone store about one of the mortal weapons which are the warriors from the iron fist tournament that amber. Yet it back over and -- of -- fighters or whatever. This is basically two stories and hair and the main story was written by Colin bond column money is the guy who wrote like him Hoover Dam and then which is that a nice little graphic novel the couple. Three issue series and come up from only. A book really really liked a lot and misses his first novel work. And it's being drawn by Dan Burton who's sort of classic -- Artist and it was a good little little short story about these as well as the BP RD story like relic hunters that they've gone. -- it to find a relic that had to do with the brightest minds miners and and the little thing happens in little haunted house they get and so if you're looking for that kind of story from Marvel Comics it was book that. You know what you've probably. I would miss and I thought it pointed out the damn disease a really great graphic novel. And and this is a guy who's is good writer and you hear more from him."
" Excellent so those comments that we enjoy this week and -- can't but I can't force us comics easy all the books that came out this week any insight -- account to your fullest. And rate write your own reviews common share with the public what you think. And now we want to highlight a couple of reviews of books that we're not reading. So kind of what you -- the first month."
" How leaf fan reviewed invincible Iron Man seventeen -- story five -- five -- five out of five. That's two lines come on this pathetic a network where that I don't know what that meant. You have -- like. The users picks this book four point 9%. And -- event -- this. I admit the first part this is wasn't the greatest -- the dark greens tying kick in his book I've got physically better with each issue it's almost like getting four stores and one issue as you have Tony -- story. One for pepper went for Marino black widow and not Norman Osborne I'll appreciate fractions writing showing. Tony's mind is deteriorating beard his misspelled Eva Marie hill. But who's listening to an introduction electrical engineering audible offline in the suit."
" I stopped reading in this environment I would issue three. And I've just heard people talk about how -- it is since I've dropped it. -- of those who violated -- don't want her to here and there at com. The fact that it was yeah yeah not so much yet but apparently the the what he's done with the with Tony Stark coming at a civil war and -- an invasion Alessio some more secure division. Has been really on clever is what -- they did so maybe we might be wrong I."
" What's the but that set -- up -- the show off but. So if you like it you cannot fill up. It's -- luck. Wrote in with a review of which is sort -- on the -- how many did Israel -- he's -- I feel horrible your castle. He review of which finer -- service of angels number three of five from dark horse comics that's all of -- excited. This is mean you'll offend us story. Get a story about a five art by about a five. And he says -- user pick in the -- percentage is one point 2%. The book moves. The book moves any Sherlock Holmes in a bit of -- collection and mystery solving. And -- mysteries interesting clues as to how the mythical land of hyper warrior fits into the -- one apology mr. -- next artwork. Perfectly fits the subject matter of course the hell boy aesthetic. He's he's a deep blacks and bright red the primary victory. And bright red the primary colors and help what world really contributes the mysterious and could be about this book. I decided to wait to read this is one thing later found but I have no doubt that it's good it's like -- and is that it is. Economic those stories to feel a little bit decompress and I thought like I was really enjoying it while on stories but like it took a big thing in the middle and I just figure if it's gonna be clue collecting and a mystery thing I'm totally gonna lose track about a month to month basis that -- rollers that yet I never get away with anything you know. What do we do -- bucket of balls kind of followed soon slash box like -- out there could affect them so it it got them accountable for everyone. But I --"
" Carries for these kind of like you better -- Books and what is happening the most prepared mental why all the crap in my outsourced out -- I'm sure it Greta. To -- it's like I'm just reading books that was going to be there."
" Yeah."
" Yeah."
