" Hey look until I stand by we're in San Diego for the big comic Don I'm -- I'm Josh I'm -- we're here it's preview night which is -- the night where. Fans who are advanced controllers and prestige and it is committed know about good -- land. But it calm relaxed atmosphere this yeah the only spot in the whole convention hall it's not wall to wall people and it's -- unites. That's not its cram Stan -- so a lot of people here and basically we've got a whole lot of work to get to so we're gonna get to it. I we are here which after brown and cartoonist end up on -- of clumsy unlikely industry's leading credible change spots on. One one of the things I noticed about your -- it's like painstakingly on days like this stuff and ended it's almost like I can't imagine you put it on done. On the pages that rough for you --"
" I just say China to think about whether I'm right in LA there's a disconnect between what I'm writing about and like my actual life so there's -- Somehow babe rating cut mechanics there's a there's a distance. From the actual events. It doesn't seem so embarrassing do you find it that like have you done step we've -- weird you had other people and it did they come back into like do you believe you wrote that you're. That's not that I know of CX. Really I mean. I've I've had people attentive like way I end this -- exactly how -- have been vetted in but nothing no serious. Repercussions. So fired have you ever done a comic. Finish it up and looked at it but that's that's too much in them and plus you have guests that is somewhere like the lost every round votes yes I am not a whole book. There's just. You know some short stories here and there. So you some -- incredible change box. Yeah that's my chance for a security. You know I grab this big fan of the -- that -- in in -- and so I've had the idea fair few years of doing this this book I'm just kind of making fun of like. Other silly things about that I liked about the cartoons but you know -- that are. As a kid made sense but in retrospect they're just really funny like. And so I just kind of wrote it kind of public about that this trying to make as many jokes is they did. Did you did you plan for the kind of the same time as the movie yet and yet I've had video throughout let them. Hey yeah he had kept putting it out there's other pat Nixon and that might hurt the -- like well like I should do it now because they do it. If they wait any longer than people they like writing he'd do it. When the movie Kitna and the style they use for the auto biographical stuff is which is actually different than some of the other stuff like big head things like. -- Ari are you are you consciously working in that soured so it seems so wrong in and well let me them that I got -- out came out of that just wanting to turn is this. Like like as a kid when nature you know that there's certain kind of -- about our children's trying where. You know they had sat down to overworked and it's just come straight from their hearts and so assist Kenneth trying to recapture that sense. Just being something very direct and very. Personal. I think that's -- that's south of extra. Com I want to ask you about the Death Cab for Cutie. Did they just call you one day those kind of you know knowing knowing people who. -- them and you know kind of became friends with certain people and then. When they. -- as the basis this as a big Canucks fans so they can have seen some of my work are ready and so and then when they came up with a video projects and I -- there you become friends with -- and who is kind of the producer. Parents turn on and keep -- objective of the videos that. So he. They've basically asked a lot of people just submit proposals there. And then picked up the streets on them on the daylight the most so I just happened to be fortunate enough to make the cut. Nomination."
" So here in the BC Booth no angle. No direction. It's really just it's just a morass of and now this kind of overwhelming it's so much so. -- Where does he can't even speak. It's overwhelming. Hey man must have been a movie."
" Movie reveals that on here it."
" Freddy Williams the second brightest. You're the artist I'm Robin. I think it's in humanity and overs when you later that's book's been one of the highlights these. Universe you're behind is gonna get reaction to a -- That that's that's the feedback I've gotten from from readers summit IDC Booth and I've been very happy to hear that they've they've come mindset that. That. Where the reason that they either came aboard the -- stayed on the book and that's I don't think there's a greater compliment than that -- So that would that I'm leaving the book which I I for 1 am not a fan of other dogs that these that thinks indexed to the morning giving characters are you still on ongoing Ilia yeah I just finished 167 his his last issue is 166. And I just finish on 67 and we've already talked to me in the editors of 170. So I went on sale on an even longer than that so yeah we're. I I want to sound and as long as -- and Uga Uga fan of the care to rely on timers that happen as commander on the books I have been a fan about well Batman and Robin I mean. -- before there was a Tim Draper whatever you have been a fan of the book and I mean of the character especially because. I mean I I basically didn't have father my father was never around -- gets -- the idea of the -- relation between Batman and Robin was something -- poignant to -- and it or at least something that -- got my -- that surrogate father sort of situation or feel out of us about was important visit is that I've heard that you don't drop on on paper all the time you do a lot of the book digitally is that true. That history. Other than just recently in the last couple issues -- taken like two or three shots that I think are two great pages that I feel like I could sell later. And I do those traditionally but everything other than that. That I've done for all of DC has actually helped in all just digital and all of Photoshop never paper. Yet never paper even former us all the way up taints everything -- and he can -- works out to all digital. Is that. But you that you're coming to do some stuff for the -- you can you can see Gonzales. Dad I'm not really show an image into and out of it really sure what I'm doing because. I mean I'm doing a couple of pages here and there -- just so I can't resell but most work I have as a lot of older that's all I have really the results so. So I think that's probably the single biggest detriment to working digitally is as having less and less originals a -- And I don't know how that's going to play out I mean I'm on Sunday to a myself I -- happens and you know lesser known was asking me for originals so this is really the first shared it's become an issue."
" is a desolate you writer of the plain -- from the new makes Clinton DC hated -- I hear any enjoyment dimensions so far pat Smith I have been there and promised them that stuff and so -- so played Kansas the first book to come -- on the -- line and it was really well received I mean. What were you expecting going into that and ended as it did did you get the kind of reaction they -- open for our."
" What kind of reaction of -- getting tried really hard to like right and then that -- which is you know so I like my books Tina so highly smoke -- agony get a really good reaction and little bit nervous begins here's my first coming Buckingham my first foray into that and and and staff and down. I learn so much -- and and really really glad that like it seems like a lot of people really not what I was trying to do use them."
" It's an assignment Euro YA writer by trade -- young adults and and the -- line is kind of aimed at kind of teams but. I'm thirty I enjoyed it. I mean ahead and a lot of it was voting do enjoy it to a lot of us fan boys in -- more -- guys so it's really kind of cross over and and was that something that you that you hadn't -- said that it was going force that happy accident there."
" Like on -- thing is that I think like a -- I am glad you know like a lot of different kinds of books he now and I think that and the one thing is that a lot of it maybe every means taking I think that that -- serious and I really like gateway. And I'm so glad he's making -- something that I can share with -- might not there on my wife for my girlfriend or whatever and around. Yeah. -- that -- looks all the time and we'd like that was so why would -- points also like 1990s and get a delta an adult books I mean. I'm sick and fan noise different Harry Potter -- and the that's yeah. Yeah like these -- intimidating their more sort of like categories and gender like. Began -- science teaching and see young delta whenever it did send stories to -- storing it running as an enemy like Alice in wonderland. This -- who -- Cincinnati got a I got 100 LT and do some more comics there. Online do you mean you are getting is people -- that's awesome that those that is how the genes -- NM and finally coming up next here sometime and on and left to right and I would love to write another. And so they -- and getting it right we found. More of the -- this weekend found -- that's -- that's a great thing about coming but that he had making continuing the episodic nature of that thing and he claims -- and town and that city and I would love to do you know different a different thing I mean an -- a long time totally in the rain and reverend Nancy."
" So a lot of the booths and I get attention and -- really cool kind of promotional items in this one right here from the dvd burner 300 of giving out these shields was a really cool idea and it's a lot of fun but they get everybody in a confluence of Concord gets them and try to get through people -- a company with the shield and it kind of works against the promotional -- the point where I hate -- shields. These are just like. It's really really cool but that."
" Camera Gordon -- Drag and seals and my going to go."
" Our intern has gotten sucked into the to the swagger appeal it's max --"
" Okay score in the intern here with that came right back comment I'm here let it. Go all the blacks. And the clean up higher."
" Christine. Kelly flat. Holly Stephens. Haley exactly my -- new jobs and Amy -- they're spinning -- Jarrett had."
" I'm not nice."
" Deteriorate even get dance guy ever and you have. Had a hand in sort of revitalizing green lantern. I guess those show all right -- green lantern rebirth of the years ago and that brought out Jordan back to CDC comics and the all of his adoring fans. And now I've just tons and passcode for NN. That book hit like like a bomb like everybody it was like the biggest book all of a sudden end and it like is it doesn't that sound like them yet I'm -- this is one -- out of nowhere like -- that was the book that everybody was talking about that did you expect matter. We expected that some people would react very strongly to it because of its contents but see. We didn't let on anybody what was really in that book so when. Retailers ordered it they ordered sort of low. They they voted green lantern numbers regular green -- numbers and that when he came out and people read it. Word of mouth spread and it's sold out everywhere and now we're selling the right -- printing so it has a big success I'll. Don't think we're expecting it. Do you think this guy. I mean how Jordan has been sort of on the precipice of being a really big character game but it feels like this is going to be the thing that that makes green lantern. Sort of one of the really significant characters again. I mean you give like an affinity for the character now I do you do I didn't before you know. Yeah I was in the green -- fan until I started working on rebirth and -- and I thought wow. This concept is a lot bigger and a lot more interesting and I really. Gave it credit for being beforehand and -- finding out all the stuff about them I'm wondering why other artists haven't explored. And visually. A little bit more it is costumes made of energy. And he's is in a galactic -- wouldn't be so cool at this -- was actually alive and in motion all the time. Is is is it is green lantern symbol is actually about. And it you know protects itself in three dimensions and spins around their rotates and maybe even makes -- I don't know. I'm -- popSiren you know bomb. And that has been very very rewarding and DC has given me the freedom to do things like that take chances on the fact damaged some of the things that I've done maybe I won't act on its -- well. They used to have a really good great working relationship to come up with that but Geoff Johns -- Is this is something that it -- that clicks are they well are you friends. Were pals -- I come but I mean aside from that I. I think I know where he's coming from with the -- and he makes me laugh a lot of the damage in lab and I try to make him laugh through what I do and his scripts often times. For example they'll offer mussina violence. To draw. And I will make the violence comically over the top and excessively warriors something -- it tasteful and very clever and fun way and hopefully. And that gets I think that gives them a tape and it you know we did the fans -- it. Even now and then when you have different agreement as you get a lot of direction know what it is they're doing -- you get to make -- guy -- doing one kind of thing with his ring where it's -- would definitely different kind of thing. In the script -- You know early on Jeff decided that each green lantern spraying should admit it different type of beam that sort of says something about his personality years occupation -- something to upset that guy gardeners ring. Would be like a buzz saw would be shooting sparks everywhere to sort of reflect his personality of being a guy who's sort of you know loose cannon. And how -- at the burner. Which I did for a little while -- on the back on on it and you know. Obviously Jon Stewart's ring since he's an architect. Would make all these sort of rigid straight lines everywhere. And we sort of build on that alive so that between the two of us. For example -- and Astro -- number one. Jon Stewart -- the sniper rifle and because of his background and architecture. He sees the object through you know completely knows every nut and bolt that he's putting together to make this thing. And as an artist it's my job to drop the gun transparent so that you can see all the pieces inside of it as well. And you know it's things like that we'll try to outdo each other come up with the newer ideas to make -- more individual. With the powers that they display. On because I think that's the real -- of dreamland there. Is the individual -- of all the different aliens and the way they're able to use that ring and it makes he was a reader wonder what would I be able to do I had the room. And could make it work. That book -- speaking about them look that way it was very precise and extremely -- that they do a lot longer than a regular book com. Well let's see -- dual book and -- two months and usually it's 22 page book. And that 44 page book -- 44 pages to me about five months. So it did take me a little bit longer to do it that I've really felt like it was an important book. I've wanted. And I've been rise -- is drawing agreement and look now has really raised the bar in terms of artistic quality I wanted to do something hopefully as good as it is. And dom do something that we. You know it's like -- again and helps an -- makes an -- a more palpable threat for the DC you so's worth that extra at a time and energy. You feel a need to step away for every letter for a little while you know what's next on the horizon I don't feel the need to mean native species that do another green -- book that we do another green -- but. There's so many other things that DC that I've really want to get my hands and I'd really like to work on plastic man. I'd really like to work on wonder woman and flash. And bad man. And so. You know it's a good idea not to -- that's yourself and I'd like to be known as the green -- artist I'm really flattered by that but at the same time. I want people to realize and I want DC to realize that I'm much more. You know flexible mad and can do good things with the all of the properties especially the ones that I feel for. And you don't act like wonder woman I have a lot to. A lot to say about it -- I have a lot of ideas vigil ideas war. So I think to get my chance of that I will always return to green and always have good you know do more stuff Jeff and I in fact are planning on doing. Another gigantic story which we're calling our return of the genocide if rebirth was the new hope. It's an Astro tourists definitely empire strikes back with -- it's dark almost you know scary negative tone. We're gonna do are return of the jedi knights series. In and about two years. We'll preview it in 325."
" I'm here with their color writer of secondly I don't do well they pump. The the book to me was is sort of unlike anything I've I've read it it where you read consciously trying producer of a new thing with the graphic novel."
" Is. Trying to do something that interest to me. It's gonna hurt too. Accurately targeted audience of myself I think you know. Judges do stuff that. That I feel really strongly about and hope that other people feels that way so what they'll go right."
" interstate in this particular story here is whether it's of the German it -- for a long time around. Yeah."
" In 1999. I read that mystery train by real Marcus it's a book about. All sorts of and musical and pop culture of things through and through history and he talked quite a bit. About stagger Lee and it's got a whole chapter on it and that was the first time I've heard the historical story it's literally. At that time I knew just two versions Lloyd price version which was a rock and roll hit in the fifties in the Nick -- version. Which is very very different from what -- virgin who heard it. And I was just really fascinated to how -- how these two different very very different songs good team. Come from the same source so. I said about find out as much as a good about it. And that carried me. Through eight years. That is that how long it took -- it comes from -- that termination was 1999 the book was published in. 2000. 2000. Six advantage plus track design them like I mean -- as he did tons of research you have like a big file abide by month there's not that much. Historical documentation on this subject what's the reason the reason the stories over and songs this because it was sort of thing that didn't make it in the newspaper the line. Indeed there are two. -- stations on the subject that were the major pieces of my research board for. Specifically that the surface during the murder I did a lot of Reading a more general things about the time period in the place. I think going forward you you'd be engine doing more historical stuff for now do you think you wanted to. Pretty much everything I wanted viewing comments this historical vision of one sort or another I want to be the guy because historical moments service John this feels like why don't mind yeah guys that it's. -- I'm that is will be the ones that into."
" It going to tell that we've got we've got we have various solving your undies because that's that's going to be huge. We have we have post crisis John Jones. -- We've got we got some day she aided. And and again I don't I don't know there's the -- masters actually appropriate for children."
" He he uses drugs. He's a killer he's no good. Yeah this this might be too inside. All this. I'll take a reverse slash. Because I never thought I'd see that."
" It's a bit better -- Adam we possibly sober than last time the slightly more -- slightly more lot's happened since the maximum to do less about the -- there on BC universal time this. It's been busy I did a couple of -- a team titans and now on that count down and count down to adventures -- basically anything at DC that has -- in the title. I'm somewhat responsible for. That's that's that's a whole cottage industry now countdown it's yet. Yeah there's going to be a whole count down line count down to ecstasy were going to do. Adaptation of the Steely Dan album really excited that's a really obscure reference for your audience they're servant I just totally within the -- Aviv and don't do not yet totally so what can tell how does count them going through is it good. If you what you expected to be good we -- really got going you know I haven't even sir what I expect it to be but it's been a lot of fine I'm really really glad I'm not plotting it. It's awfully nice to have someone else taking care of all 600 story lines. And then just giving me -- weekly chalk. And then from that I get a chance to you have my input on it say here's what I'd like to do with the seniors like doing that scene. And have been very receptive to the suggestions that I have it's been a really fun process and -- work with Paul Dini and the editors -- the head writer how much feedback you get an element -- notes does he give you stoppers there's a lot of -- subscription perspective -- those who doesn't work what's going on you know I haven't seen a lot of changes which I guess is his great Paul doesn't send me any notes directly they come through the editor. Occasionally I've had notes to change a liner to -- in there and occasionally an issue has come out we're seeing this team's been changed. But I really the changes been pretty minimal I think -- happy with how it's gone so -- and establish a framework. There's nothing like you you're basically following a plot line and not. Divorced that I don't -- scripting where the words correct I'll get a phone call from the editors. And Paul we get on the phone is a conference call we talk about the issue that I'm going to be writing. We work out exactly what the students are gonna be so everybody has a pretty good idea what's going to be happening before us to better analyze your favorite characters and plugs are following a bunch of different story let's -- I'm having a really good time reading the ropes. I've been lucky enough that my issues have had a lot of really fun scenes with them and there's more coming up. And they've been a blast to right -- writing banter. -- Now is it tough to write them because they're basically -- murderous. Suicide mean. It murderers or people to -- it come line for the fact that make them make them. Sympathetic. Because if -- are sympathetic countdown yet no I don't think it's stuff and all they. They have got a lot of remorse over the events of of what took place. They know that they are at least partially responsible for what happened. But it's not something that they ever intended to deal were set out to do they didn't really feel like they had that part in it. So I think it's been pretty easy to make him sympathetic and so the next look at the prevention -- the -- that -- what it's going really well I just finished reading the fifth this year the first issue I think comes out next month. Any barrows is drawing the heck out of it it is absolutely gorgeous it's. Miles ahead of the work he did on not to teach you it's it's a blast how'd you described as -- businesses space road adventure -- what's the what's the if -- describe it took some viewers -- it's actually more about the home lives of the characters it's about what happens to the characters after they get home from the adventures of 52. And what follows them home from their adventures in fifty soon so both ran and earth wind up in Carroll as a result of what our characters have brought back with the so. You -- you recent burst on the scene YouTube and Robin it's it's very grounded in reality and I hear you're -- State's ethics or. Is that that's fun for you. It's a lot of fun it's fun to step sort of outside my comfort zone to -- have been doing with Robin for the last year and half. But at the same time these are pretty grounded characters and a strange is a real guys got no powers. He's got no special abilities he's I've been describing him as the John McClain of the DC universe. Animal Man is very much a family man and -- home. Home based -- fire of course is an alien princess but over the years she's been played so multi dimensional that it's easy to buy into her as a real person. So that grounded aspect is still there in the work."
" One of the things they do every years they give out a bag for you to carry all your free stuff. This year. I guess this paper is the -- got a lot of control. This thing is huge. He could probably fit gym Leonid let's see if he's in there. No no he's not in them. -- well let's go fill ours out. I can you tell me what's in your back."
" Well. Just about everything you could be handed out free -- I think my number one thing if I can find it why can't find his -- Penny arcade tiger going -- very cool and one reason McCain would you be willing to trade sending your back for something in my bag. Without looking and and he can pick which you want to give Maine back I'll definitely okay let's it. -- there's this neat neat thing again. Nice here's a quarter here we are -- what you named Mike Mike can you tell us what's in your back. Are responsive to appreciate them endlessly. I'm listening related blog or some out of it -- been -- practices. Would you be willing to trade your bag from my bank. Oh man."
" I just wanting would you trade one item in your back for one item out of my bags. I know -- and give -- to sustenance and feel the way. I guess so."
" Who would you be willing to trade something that's in your back for something that's in my bag -- and I -- ago."
" Who exactly in the."
" Can you tell us what's in the bag."
" And posters and T certain."
" Donate -- and necklaces. We'll be back then and he won't like anything you can get what you."
" Being willing to trade something it's in my bag for some -- units in your bag."
" Many things. That we are -- now."
" And very happy about it thank you so much -- a -- are there for Hillary's we've noticed that your wearing a Baghdad everyone else seems to be carrying around south calling it take you to do this."
" Have been working the last couple of night since -- have gotten them from commenting on day in and."
" Came -- senate design machines this is a fantastic passing had -- didn't stop blotted view pictures and interviews and not at all now. Iraq right so obviously is this your first convention argued is that every time --"
" This is my first silicon heavenly dimensions are."
" That man. The great thank you very much it's Sunday. It's great stuff from in a decade ago. Well you actually got."
" The Soviet Union even had some guys. -- Often."
" You yeah."
" 85 cents. This might not."
" That and always we get with the band where they."
" This is on yeah we we excel we know a guy who works and -- tech in the then of course this is instant credibility rating and I know we've walked around last year last year not everyone has done is I've downloaded those but I don't have -- Ease the vibe plus I am here with Stockard to TVP. I don't how are you good -- since last year I feel like you guys really turned the corner you had all these projects come on everything science and."
" said to keep moving forward. We really like that this year because the the show invited us against him and them they they close out that puts up and hotel. So since we were able to save so much -- the trip this year we decided let's not save it let's spend it -- put it into the Booth and our show. And -- of his big years for sure we've had the animation. Way to big announcement. The show this YouTube -- he's going to the Xbox-360. Marketplace really yeah I -- download avatars background they get the series and you TV that's an excellent sound. Tom but he still put up atomic every day area now that's that's the heart soul of the whole operation. Everyday new comics or freon on PDT online dot com that you -- still haven't found the comic and feel like you can discover stuff. I feel you not feel like as finance -- a fan in the bathroom and he said you know the -- really gotten good and I said yeah I feel like they're really in my stride only took ten years. But yeah no I love the strip more than ever you know I really feel like. Kind of like a -- hitting my stride when it. I feel a lot of the characters kind of blossomed over the past couple years I guess another outages in the book and everything that happens you have the most fun -- these days. You know and I'm really enjoying scratch it. He started off this kind of just. Simple gag and he's really become a full fledged character. I really looking for developing. Rabin butler a lot more I think their relationship -- dynamic. And have -- back from San Diego. I think there's two characters will be getting married I think it's time. So -- that's what kinds of new relationships output that isn't really sad about that so I I heard yesterday is some races -- the picture of George Lucas wearing Han shot first serve. Absolutely. They've they've made their own concept pressure -- a really you know they have their own it's like a little cartoon in. It's it's on Jefferson wasn't wasn't -- hours now the that I thought now it's then may I I'm getting -- email from fans that are -- don't be upset it's okay. Don't doing anything that would make them see lesser. Ours is about time Leibowitz not Hans solo. Of course the famous Jewish smuggler right exactly how many bullets and heat the shots. First in the battle. The war the bananas in exactly. Iron man's coming out starring Robert Downey junior he's here. He's -- on the moral -- The economy it was on interview let's see the -- the magic of Robert Downey junior it's already noted that the --"
" Songs. Yeah."
" I'm here bill Willingham -- fables and Jack tables as well. I answered congrats on not all the -- as you expecting to just clean up. I never expected to."
" Cleanup clubs clean happens you know yes win -- lineup in DC. What is little known as idea. -- And has yet. That lasted a couple of issues I really feel like you're building up to culmination from south that was in the very first -- the very first couple of issues I feel like now did you have a long like 56 year plan for this and -- and is this the culmination of things are. Well I have long range plan right now obviously when you start a series you never know it's gonna go. So I had some sort ratings plans longer and if we could see things and have them go. For a long time you bad. As I became more confidence since it looks like tables will indeed. Keep an audience in readership for awhile. Then yes they need long range plans are getting a little longer we're seeing things now that we'll you know chaos along time ago. Now do you have an ending in store do you do you know when it's going to be finished third you know you have like an actual issue or it's funny last -- have a lot and we did and my standard answer is always well. We don't wanna and it very soon I mean it's not going to be specific issue. But when it is done and it I know the final and in the story will be however. Stories get stale if you sit around too long. So I was talking to Rockingham -- Maine artist -- Hammond and -- they have parents sandy and I kind of going to want to move that and story out. A little sooner. So now we're gonna do it reels and because we thought of ways that call you know it doesn't have to and there are a matter of fact after that big thing happens. That's kind of really when it just gets interesting -- so we're gonna -- the big and it's area. Have a bunch of cool things happen after that who knows that'll -- and now I got that sense that you could actually wrap up the storyline now and then you can do something completely different with the same characters and different the same characters are there is an entire world. Different tables and folklore characters from from different cultures we got a long ways we can go. You have these like a store of characters you haven't used yet you've got plans for a good idea. Yeah yeah. That story characters. You know I I keep adding new characters as often as I can and you don't want to have too many T zones. It's already huge -- Unfortunately that's sort of sectors are not crossing them off -- and I'm adding more so that we -- bank scared of that money is. It's it's growing it's growing use to -- map that's. It's kind of a good problem this is a book that it did Cindy seems like it's people just problem within the same way they have Mike sandman and another thing that. Did you figure out or is it that people really love about this. Look this is the tables are the characters keep. Well obviously it's me it's all me and it's now I think first of all everyone knows the characters. I mean prince charming snow -- big we will every one. You know I grew up with a -- to their release was exposed them so -- all a starting point. It's almost like here is it's a new series that even if we get into late. We don't have to be experts or or dig into obscure stuff to kind of hit the ground running we already know that stuff. All they have to do is as raiders for fables this find out you know ha -- views and abuse and and then manipulated them cents details of their familiar -- I think that's got a lot to. Is there any particular character you know we've really developed an affinity for over the times -- sure everybody is necessary care to do is that you really like to hear -- Well you know that's I mean snow on baby were of course it's may have -- the darlings of person and they were you know my favorite characters that person and I knew. So you know of this story are I mean early on them like it's talked about before that the -- romance. This. That. You know that should have been a doomed romance was going to be a big part of mom -- blue being such a heroic figure in the in the homeland came as a surprise. So heat kind of I earned a place. Fans hey hey real important character and -- die and prince charming was started off -- was only going to be attached to. But you don't want to dimensional characters after you start adding a little bit of there's a little bit of that to prince charming. And he surprised me by by becoming one of my favorite favorite characters. -- keep an eye on him and the issues that come through and get your Kleenex tissue boxes handy that's on sale."
" But they were here originally paid under the -- when it comes apart. Great time. So you earlier today European its founders panel which is in the probably the biggest. Panel that's -- the most attention. None did you ever think fifteen years -- be here at that kind of that kind of events of that kind of gathering on the votes and you start out an image there."
" Mount on. The fact that it's survived fifteen years is is on its internal actually. But those are fun I don't think we've ever been in the same room.
Oh man."

It's been about at the event since 89 so -- about eight years then so or 98 earnings lot of pack. It's been one day and a lot today I don't want anybody I swear that I see those guys you know several times a year kinds -- whenever I talk to them but to be on a panel and get the same old stories again Austin. So all of your most recent orca fat man with Frank Miller and wildcats Graham Morrison got two great writers Tom have -- been about an experience of with the consistency release and answer thing there. While. The books back on track yet so which came out when they -- rights -- that's -- it's two months later it. I'm more on the issue thereafter. I had about these these are two best writers in the business then so come on here big gamer palm -- the year my life the World of Warcraft ground let's see Watson got the -- excited that he got time in this comedians have to -- lap I play a lot of -- if I am 56 -- six -- a multi Gloria no I'm not it's not that I I quite. Yeah like you it's not a lot of time playing a request portable year. Went out the window but. I actually check out channel that into work -- that's an animal -- DC universe but I think what while it's just like I want my kids that we were played -- very relaxed pace and we'll get back level forty and 56 and has isolated -- around but I mean that -- to have the luxury of like twelve hours and do these raids that something to view and try to drug comments at the same time -- it's."
