" War ribs. This upset about -- was brought to buy. Good -- come Netflix dot com. And drunk driving over the limit under us from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Hey welcome to life MI minus column with Ron and I'm Josh we're back in San Diego it's so much show we shot we had a part one was last week when this part to a San Diego comic con show."

" Part two we couldn't cram all the prayers and all the great writers and artists and folks in the public -- that we talked you into into what have -- got a second -- here with more from the city -- comic -- it was just overwhelming and I am -- I can't believe how much there is. I'd let your voice is good and that's what you're gonna talk a lot of them and better than a crap that San Diego -- that's what happens just San Diego. And other -- talented since al-Qaeda -- the pie eating himself in front of his mind we -- cook and Dave Bullock and cameras there -- then add drama to talk to you. See you back marble. Captain America white zero came out recently as a reaction and that. I think people are still kind of get used to the idea that that's out -- stuff. The houses -- love it. And it was really it hasn't been working on the iconic captain America. As the first brought -- back marble. Well that's great but the important thing for me is working with Jeff. It's been too long and we really just kind of fell right back into it. Just like old days. It's been great these good random. I think -- great writer what you guys I mean obviously you -- vibrations become legendary in industry between submitted baton and a -- it is legendary totally we we recommend in the the so when you guys when you guys approachable like that do you have how involved are each and in and plotting it story I mean is it knowledge of just changed the script to do it RI get a feeling it's very collaborative."

" Outlook the plotting not so much harder but we definitely talk a lot about the direction we want to take. What do we want to do what don't we want to do we knew we wanted to work load -- we knew we wanted to. To begin kind of essentially with. -- the framing sequence to be. -- just over four. Where the veggies find kaput -- from the guys in that kind of thing. But the book committees. Tanks and Nazis in Velika once -- and -- episode."

" So on so coming back to doing a collar Buckeyes defense Spiderman and and -- some of that it seems that there's files kind of evolved little since those years has that been noticeable on your part or is that they just -- kind of subconsciously."

" Well a couple of things one is I hope I continue to get better and rose an -- so that's one thing. But I also try to mix up my style my techniques that the materials they use things like that with every new project that I take on. So but he was individual using yes edit it these two mister Rogers arbitrary needs to fit what the story is. What a mighty what can I how can utilize best. What I'd do or to tell the story that we want to tell if for this using a lot of graphite pencil soft graphite pencil. Apparently kind of digging in and it was kind of inspired by it. Jack Kirby did maybe half a dozen or I've only seen half a dozen. Drawings like pencil drawings chalk drawings on envelopes what I hope right. From the foxhole and send it back to roster every -- And he was the battle of the bulge management was series soldier. And does so I kind of want everything that a little bit."

" That's really cool that's that's that's a great detail that -- they ought -- artists literally you know think about so that's awesome. So on your work with TV show heroes has some been seen by millions and it's kind of you know. From what we've -- is not -- was kind of an ambassador for comics in terms of art summit that. How has that been the other reaction to that this people senior workers to mass scale and like my parents want to challenge that they say who's that artist then yeah well --"

" Funny when it first began. -- right yes it it has increased my exposure to great deal but I wasn't really sure that anybody would. They've noticed the art that it they would really wonder who the artist was -- like that I -- it it is I worked for the prop department. But I think it's a prop dig it out shut -- right. And I was really sure had ever wonder who made that couch. That was really sure about that. Except for the people who already knew -- were familiar with my work. All of them is that they could recognize -- right away it was very flattering and nice. Now has been a lot of a lot of funds that they had never aspired to do fell into this field really really lucky to do it. I mean to your work has pretty much become a big part of the visual storytelling of that -- that drives the plot in a lot of -- and I can't think of another story that another show that ever did that. So when they killed the artistry -- developed a well I did not turn to Jeff and say. And he said don't worry you have a job you know and I noticed that and they said it as a whole bunch of art that we don't have we -- know about it I was glad to see that well that I know I've done. I've done a lot of work for the third season program as NASA's new work on the next season. Any any any hints that Dole's done on the story here. No I don't I partly because I don't know man I don't want to know I'd like to. I worked really pretty intensely on the pilot yeah and ever since that I want to know was going chemicals -- doesn't have the pilot. Well you have seen this at at at at you know so that no I've watched his -- I'm here at come."

" And Brian hurt creators of the damned promoting hi guys doing feeling good right now I don't mean to pick up this look for a long time I picked up yesterday and I Hurley went through this morning. I really liked this book well how to sell it to folks that's a surprise. -- not I I must present anything as good on the how to sell the folks who don't know what it is. Well it's sort of Norton mark crime story like the Maltese falcon and the big sleep only with demons thrown into the mix and warm yet demon bar. Monsters atomic ends with this. Yeah you always wanted to do like against a story like that but you also mean yes it's like it's in order a salad zapped with a twist in heard there was that all of these things come together. It was a lot -- last thing for me had to like crime books and I kind of wanted to look scrambled while somewhat bigger to push ill -- Fantasy directions are forward direction that's what we did I like draw monsters and suits to excel again and our that's what sort of things like the demons -- he really grounded. I mean you guys have like rules for them like they're this kind of demon and not another -- Well we do have some unspoken rules for the demons but I think when we put that together we really made a conscious decision we didn't want these dean -- be shooting fireballs out of their eyes and things he wanted it to be very grounded. I mean there's some definite supernatural big supernatural elements and it but. For the most part demons are crime and crime as a crime story aware of the criminals happen to be monsters and that's it's -- crash or more as a monster story. Now and and now this is volume one then you've got a new series going now prodigal sons. How how long does is go for. We like yeah well we tagged with. Prodigal sons of the BC miniseries. Then after that we get another three she series -- daughter's dance that'll be coming out which is at a sister mini series of this so they'll they'll be collected together. Is the same characters there is there a big world. It's more than as the is more the world building going on this week takes on the same cares we'll also introduce some new major characters well. But the main that the main story always will revolve around characters that you've seen in the first story -- mainly any being that the central figure in the story. We kind of talked about it we can't have the story planned now for maybe. Fifty issues herself and needed dose and we have a definite ending to the whole story in -- Is this -- this is the book the guys are working on now for the foreseeable future. Or you want to get out of demon primed for a little while and come back again we will always we'll always be coming back to the dam that we do have other projects in my we have somebody else will be working on in the next year. As well he can't talk with him -- San Diego and everybody can't talk about stuff that isn't that we would love to be able to talk about it Lydia led. --"

" Some Arab writer Joe Kelly here the image -- irritated Jeff good thanks trying to con -- actually believe in your current hours -- a lucky I'm super high and it and it and I. So you've got a bunch of -- on stuff coming out of image respect the giants came -- it's sold out and then he got up for rising at a preview of the coming up it's RU com a lot of your work you worked previously for marvel and DC in this -- a lot of great -- of coming -- is -- you're happy with that player apparently. All the men of action guys are doing books -- images here. I just have to be sort of in the first wave that and we're really happy to begin -- I mean I love working for the major companies I loved working on the XEV Garros. But these stories that I wanted to tell for a long time some like giants like for years have wanted to -- story. -- don't look like the giants that I was -- I I really enjoyed it a lot hey is that are you targeting just done a younger audience without both or is it. Not you know giants the subject matter actually gets pretty dark as it goes along its its sort of I guess it's more a story that. And if it was a movie be like PG thirteen in some ways that would subject matter but. I had you have children's book coming out in November so I'm just looking for all different types of audiences all different types of stories. So the one thing that struck me with four eyes and also like to giants they've got artists of the very distinctive style. When you look for -- the work with -- I mean are you trying to match just file with the story in the tone are absolutely I mean giants took a really long time has I and I had a -- years ago by -- finally the right guided and I've been really lucky you know. Comics is let me travel around the world so I meet these guys in Spain Argentina. And nobody's working with them yet so I gets it. You know get them while their right -- these guys are so going to probably won't get to work with them on the next front acknowledge that as people see -- they're going to blow up at that they're really good. So Michael -- is not your baby is gather the -- the book that you've been all the for a -- yeah absolutely absolutely -- so -- even -- with a response that I guess that is sold out I -- to get a lot of -- critical -- yet seems like people again it which is nice you know it's. You worry so much as we so likes to be here are driven that when you come in with -- it's like you know coming of age story in this quirky girl you. You wonder what people are gonna say and it has so far the -- it's been exactly -- the biggest super here's your guts of Spiderman south. Yep got a couple. Two issue story coming up with Christmas shallow and also they've integrated a special. Work with Chris and that's great he's doing fantastic so what does it been like to bid and that brand new day kind of machine that they've got Roland you know so it's been great so -- the guys are really cool. Really open with their ideas and happy to talk about what they're doing and they've been a lot of fun so I'm. Like the nervous new -- come in like I want to be funny one of extremists might have been schools."

" New threat appeared to prosecute how are you doing good doing good but you're writing night wearing loose. Taking a bit that I hit in the last few years he was even considered to be killed off for awhile you seem to bring about your went. Or amongst our fans' memories of a favorite book again it's -- what was it about -- found in what was it about the president you've you've brought back."

" On this one of those things right just -- you you look at the character who's got such great history and is it really should be tied him more into the fabric of the DCU and to -- to strain that. That was what my main job was to do was was to bring next -- there you know into the limelight let him be the hero of his own book a little bit more. Not -- get taken out as easily as he usually does it just kind of really. Just make it a point that the fans realize that night -- is not off in some corners somewhere but the DC area -- he's right dead center on it and and that's really mind that was the big approach that I wanted to have really worked on and hopefully you know everybody stay -- NN -- like what we're -- whether. Well as there -- agreement -- the York. He was actually still he'd be they started I think you're one with the -- John they Adam in New York. And there was talk of moving nearly brought an end to New York and adamant it yeah oysters -- and me being a New Yorker born and bred. I wanted to also put somebody in a place that I knew really intimately well and I wanted to city. Just like what James Robinson did and on and start -- opal city was almost a character and of itself. I wanted. Just to have New York really just you know people to feel -- and really not just think it was you know generic. You know generic city somewhere so it was really import to be -- make sure there's a New Yorker I got a little bit more of the of the city's feel into the book. When they had noticed."

" But the book is Hugh Rodham very brother listened to Robin and I'm going to rather they are but you don't see a lot. Lately maybe he really brought in so bad like a but it NN dynamic and it was just a -- divorce."

" Yeah I was one of my -- I mean I I really think. To meet a lot I noticed some people on the fence about that where they say you know what don't bring into much of the bat family into it -- it honestly. People I think he's he is he's part of the -- family and you know and the word family is DNA and I honestly these these people who brought up together gone through. Incredible hardships of each other and in some major trauma. So it was really -- committed just you know hit it on the head this is a family you are going to see the -- family and it and Robin is you know is really a brother and you're going to see their relationship."

" Skills -- green lantern corps yet. That's ours ours -- guy who got into real into sort of shunted to the side after I was brought back right what was your what was your -- that."

" That is pretty easy I love them and these are like main GLs that should that that have really distinct personalities and our. Just able to sign their own right even more than how some -- so I thought it was it was a it was again needed just say look you know move the light right on these two guys and and and let them do their thing and it. And you know it's either there easy characters are right guy is a blast -- a lot of writers have found over the years. And and Kyle you know with a all the trials and tribulations he's come through. I wanted to just show him out to that he is that no guy charges he's not you know he's got some demons or this he's got a you know some. Some darkness still billing and in a little bit but you know he's a guy who's moving on and and taking charge and you know -- haven't -- that aspect of note for a lot of people your new ride in the severe accident business for a long time have a uniform editorial -- the -- Why was it DC is an editor for fifteen years and then. There was just one of those things right so the screenplay. And I'd been writing as you said for quite awhile that a few things like light brigade I had done some showcases. Some outsiders issues. Steel and a few things like that. So I was always had my hand at it and DC was always grade and allow me to do that because they weren't. They weren't keen on kind of having a nepotism aspect that they want so they really felt that you know these was. Point my heart into the stuff they allowed me to write every once in awhile and then one day I was just talking with Dan you know the DL we're just BS and in the office and all of a sudden. You know we're talking and I'm like you know I want to do that wanted to maybe do this -- thing -- purity approached me about us that some look at sort of happened in a damn what's next thing that I can do it goes. I -- of -- about writing fulltime and -- like. Yeah okay anyway what do we help so I don't I get now what about writing fulltime cynics and now a three year contract them. Eyes is an offering could refuse though. Amid ninety days -- write it off but there must be very gratifying it is actually it is itself want the ones things -- is where I loved just telling stories and two I gets that. -- really like. You know two years of my son now a moment getting want to grow up so it's it's been a real you know the real great thank them freelance aspect it's big NN."

" I'm here in the DC vertigo Booth with Andy did go I don't I'm good thanks good. You've come a long way to get to that -- to the show today yeah I just got off the plane from London last night but the jet -- really say yet. It time give it time that the on the I've I guess -- want to talk to you must -- about here you publish -- work recently. It's been a really great run you know after bunch of other gray runs what was it fund music or you've always wanted to raiders."

" Absolutely I mean that when me being my friend jumped out this when we first wanted to approach rented out for work like six years ago. Up I was -- to put together -- helped blaze that sample we could -- look at us going to write used to draw a six page public historic center will that is within the edit it. Pretend that the -- and openness -- the work in the meantime anyway so it didn't didn't happen but yeah we've been wanting to do help lead to the whole time. Now I'm I'm right help like jokes during a bill would like to put together and it. He's doing this Gretchen graphic novel with David a lot of first -- it's a new book right."

" Out of love to see that you were gonna have book I'm kind of I'm I'm a little upset right now actually well maybe one day we will -- on anyway. Is it was it is it tough to take care -- got that much background and I noticed the use some of the stuff that happened the past but the stuff he did was largely. New reader friendly Agassi to pick it up -- how are we -- the legacy of the whole thing where you."

" You -- that a balancing act because on the one hand is cactus got a real history I put continuity in -- the can be thought of they -- of the complicated series of events brought an actual story stuff tonight. But -- would help later there is a history to the character get the respect that same time the United old adage of every -- somebody's first -- you know -- to -- that that it might say. So Galveston trying to get the balance right to making it accessible both sucked out of the United acknowledging Moscow -- and -- also played off some of the old stuff as well I think. When it when my run wraps up you'll see some some threats -- back to where all started and about -- little clues throughout my run as -- how it ties into some old stuff but at least picked up when you know hoping hoping it will become clear in the -- how many issues. Is his left here on they'll be three glory she's off to Jason -- to -- that we read we rent. Enough that I have done almost thinking about Muslims don't want it to I was Soledad which he planned to question site. Logic because I'm just popping up so obsessive about -- blades or just take way too long running every issue. -- I I think some of the first thing that -- states at least got to know you or was it was the losers lose a fantastic series how would you describe it to people because it's great. Sort of the sub endless series you can pick up against yet the loses its kind of like an action -- piper put the best way to describe -- self contained in five graphic novels. Like official version of pitching would be it's the a team with a body count. It's. It's meant to be as fun as a big dumb action movie but this -- as a sort of seventies style political thriller. I was described as like okay it's safe this -- political -- disguised as big dumb action me. How could they disguising his brother -- the -- but again notice it's huge front -- is -- that -- really got me noticed -- as well you know because. I think you can tell how much fun we had working on that. In fact it is self contained as a serious graphic novels you know we we ended exactly where we always -- to India which was great you know from deployment serious. I would this let's have -- MX missile that would be accountable -- it seems tailor made for movie did you have a kind of in mind you're doing rhetoric. Clearly wasn't totally designed to be turned into a movie but it was obviously. It was image he got a group from my love all of action movies and it's it reads like comedian there's always intended to. But I thought that was what made to be tended to build -- what their right action maybe a guard -- action movies and automate. We didn't get away with so much more vertigo. What you can -- the video. -- maybe that you could never get away with and Hollywood because they would have to get kind of abandoned street -- and accessible to the guys you know and -- United replace. So again maybe we could just -- on aren't right what went."

" When you're working with a guy like jock specifically like -- pages violent turn in in that book or in the green area one where like utilities need."

" You're you're actually taken aback by -- must be made and get those pages -- the first times."

" It's always socialist group with a when you what you without -- you -- you know what you're gonna get back. The United sometime -- surprise you. Sometimes Connecticut went abundant oxygen could write put -- put so much good job now McCain going to predict each other's moves so well that. What I'm writing the scripts and looks like his -- in my head already. But he still pledges to surprise me and how cool it is an -- get pages in. You know they just intrinsically knows how to conduct which is the moment you know the story moment on it every night at the salad like I haven't really -- you in the United. So -- guys at the pleasure look at let's go to devote much human it's been officially program. Did you officially call him jock or his given name that no one else knows that you get the call right -- the kind of an acoustic company's real -- as -- Simpson's. And by the but he he had it but he's he's been nicknamed job since he was in school even -- schools and job this kid. So webcam what are you when he was let's figure out what in America he was wondering whether he just uses his real name. Has taught me something different in the states and it doesn't mean thinking amber -- that in Britain Summers in Scotland is like slang for Scott's personal. But -- received in Scotland delay you wouldn't know right now. But yes I need to get you know like him when he come up elevator -- should take -- back but but I think he was the first guy what for that it was -- Kerry human referred to him his job in some. It's you'll press release which when it's I guess I think -- it into effect on him. There's anything else coming up that we need to know about -- I could tell you that I'd have to kill you. Up -- a couple of things in the pipeline which have been announced yet. Want to vertigo I won't faux marble. Neither of had been announced yet also. I can't read about it you're almost useless to me -- and I read -- result."

" And now works for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. There's no way to hybrid you can drive drunk we will find you cops everywhere are stepping up enforcement and wrecking. Never before --"

" Right the near the creating a proof has a young guys again and -- this decision and if so bomb proof is one of those books that. Our I fan base who yelled an -- are reading as O'Connor I picked it up and we were blown away we thought it was awesome. So where did you guys come over the concept for four proof."

" I -- right in my came up with it accidentally and debated joke and I just randomly being so again he doesn't even now -- an -- the bad news -- that I. I emailed the guy getting him and when we met and we actually the first time we met here. A few years ago he already had the sketch book full of ideas for him so. We just ran from their book so bombed so are very I guess friends outside approve religiously at the convention and how you Morgan the other. He smells very -- group that. It blew up at it's a book but the I don't -- Americans and I expect at I think they're Canadian. Sorry about that you don't. It's could so what -- is a purpose what really drew veto was the visual."

" kind of it's it's got this very kind of sketchy kind of look to it that kind of I think. Depicts the story really well is that some you want to -- is failure to Marseille and suddenly you're doing specifically for the story."

" That's an -- for myself let him flatly had you looked like corporate work stuff for a site in magazines such as I guess that's -- work. Tuesday that Ukraine not great enough this blanket it is just elegant as of this or -- that is messy and it's this. -- that started at."

" Santa Elena Salinas and I love Elvis is my favorite character -- and everybody is beloved event called I got a man I didn't really I don't like the make over I like that I like the -- and so it's all a lot of the a lot of aspects of -- are are based a lot of urban legends and urban -- how much research goes into the other the story aspects of both from -- and visually and time again tonight."

" In fact worthwhile. You know those -- like just visual reference but. Helicopters airplanes monsters wizards -- snakes are good and Alex and speak -- against -- really -- as much as we damage and make it. It and it seems."

" Very believable yeah. Yeah. -- especially take them. A lot of reserves sound and I've -- at -- pulled desk is piled with books on monsters and -- urban legends and all that stuff so. -- it's a little creepy ignite them. And I haven't."

" But the one they like though when the fairies that the teeth -- like -- like there's a there's a realistic edge to it that like yeah we've got this mythical -- kind of ideas of fairies but you guys are. Making it scary you know like gotta make you believe it also believable."

" What's -- is those -- the kindly -- people believed in those a hundred years ago then there was a huge deal people all over the world body and an -- so. You know the idea that there's something behind it maybe. Those that is guilt free -- York now -- a late night or on the is that a monsters of that that the other guy he's the watches search. And and that showed used to freaked me out right on this series that's unsolved. And it. -- Alex is a little bit -- Is the number squeamish death and I'm more impressionable but yeah. But I don't my -- learns that the and I admire that they don't want man I'm writing a month man's story right now and that if you know that story that is previous hill its really yeah so this. So on the cited as a proof that they've felt like for this check out seven sons ages by a decline are published let them -- it come about seven sons. It's DNA it's the fabled ancient Chinese fable of the seven Chinese Brothers each of them has a different superpower and again they didn't know loads of trouble zone. That better."

" They give it to contact us or North American context or western context and it does not make it that the Chinese Brothers western backed. Differently it's incorporated into it -- what did you people who actually stop a bullet they're trying to escape Baghdad. Cultural revolution and then I would expect specializes in America and its cable and that that was it pretty much."

" We'll Anheuser actually been but this -- that are really positive they -- an image that soon today governor. I -- here with Jerry Moore. And I didn't push run out of the way to get to this interview let's. He's had you enough yeah well that's just basically a company. The last time we talk to you."

" hadn't quite come out so we didn't really know what to ask you about it but now it has and I know it is so."

" We'll try that now -- it you only -- stretch of paradise Joyce talks sort of about."

" But you knew the characters you almost you spoke about the like they're real people do you feel like you -- with these characters yet."

" Yeah. You I'm so deepened echo now that. But I am still in the discovery process like I'm I'm really getting. Even -- I thought I had my main character Julie -- figured out. Every issue something new something new turns up and I think home -- yeah that that's so you really and truly it's it's just a process you know you never. You never get it thinks like doc figured it all out ahead atomic test master and it really is is kind of like a road trip and you just figured out as you go we'll."

" With with the Terry -- girl character right. So -- that -- me do an X files what this. That now you had sort of a big timeline of strangers in paradise like how -- I mean are you as tightly regimented in this wanted to know where it's going."

" Golf course not just. -- you know what and wild and fancy free I have. I think an elected TV series and I have the first season figured out and for seasons about eighteen issues. I think that beach issues like and that's no small amount of planning now. Well yeah it's just my one big movie you know I mean I've got that much figured out but I have you know fifty she's figured out now. Steve do you plan on going that far I mean I'm gonna go the first season and if we get good ratings then I'll do another season. It even happy with the looks of fighting any good response are you guys that in response has been very good. And it's outselling SAP like crazy so. I think because it's more it's easier to understand is more approachable and it's impossible to describe this idea I don't know people so what's it out I don't know what to say."

" I actually know the feeling yeah. You know of media felt like the fourth issue was when it kind of clicked we're all the little things dropped into place. Where as a know like this and this is all connected and things like that -- are you meet during sort of the information specifically."

" Yeah -- for me it off starts falling into place an issue five. Which had just finished. You know he is after it the more you read. I'm I'm hoping it's going to be elected good mystery books are you know that's like my mystery where. It's chapter brings a new twist you know like a little clip playing or something so that the -- you get more or. The more sexy winds on trying for that. It's a really complicated story and I feel like I've barely touched the surface. -- got -- to time to figure out yeah I had eighteen misses it and."

" Unless you have some time away from Francine and David could you now. My parents are stores popping up for them still the -- to be back down her."

" Got this is really really weird because I feel like I was in this great band for about fifteen years and we broke out. And I'm still getting ideas for songs for the band I still can we can still do it. We can get back together and play a reason you can't do that we can play on the rooftop tomorrow in it would still be the band you know me and but I'm you know it's like. It's really weird to see pictures of them are the old books now and and now I feel very connected but I don't do that anymore and it's just."

" You have a moratorium on like I won't do a story of this for awhile that you think you might go back sometime in."

" It's Phillips and spaces well I I just had so many other things I wanted to do. That I've got it this is much shots into that go. I still want to do some things. Like motor girl you know the girl with the motorcycle mechanic and next to his name but I'm still on to something there but I think you know. Let me do a couple of projects and and see how I feel and in in the last --"

" I'd ignore you keep your long awaited model for other products will be coming out sooner now than -- later. And your member writing those -- all over."

" Amman issue five them both books -- illustrating and runaways. And they start next month -- they launched a week apart. And I'm only about hi this is ahead so -- deep into those worlds right now. I -- three worlds echo runaways world than -- Mary Jane's world on what kind of stuff for you gonna be focusing on the runaways. The runaways are back again LA and they're having to deal with serious consequences of something that happened in Bryan Vaughn's story. He did something really not in this story so my team has to pay for them. So that's where I'm writing about."

" Is it -- Is it intimidating I -- following John Sweden and and Brian Brian -- on the unlike the legendary book and you give your -- small you know because statue yourself but. Just we can -- Brian harness. Just say exactly that's like talking about it."

" I don't know. I think. If you know it when I'm alone at night scary -- crawl up into little ball and cry like little girl -- Anaconda I would have to say you know if you can't handle that you shouldn't get the job."

" Nice some here let's -- Brubaker are Eisner Award winning Ed Brubaker. -- can I like to be referred to from now on at all times Eisner Harvey Schuster and pot and -- Glad they'll Award winning are you on the latter warm in the -- lord for holly and Karen in catwoman -- awesome regardless I guess Cameron in Darwin are also. But glad Award -- still but I have the Award. It's -- and so on so you know of course we talked before about you know captain America and the Marisa you're doing do on a book. How does it I mean how does it feel that the industry kind of acknowledge that the work even do -- tears -- really been throwing everything into those bucks. -- bald spots it's always great big knowledge that stuff I mean for me it's always just it's about doing good work I mean it's great to get awards and stuff like that but the next day he stood -- a deadline. So I mean -- some. I voted for Brian bonds I was a little shocked the -- that -- per share Y the last man ended like he's got to win this here and then I go to marvelous I think the best ending of of a major serious long time maybe ever. So that was kind of shocking thing yes that's really has -- beats the opposite. But also. Remember the first and I was nominated for an eyes nor was it in 1991 or 1992. And I was nominated. Every now and then I must have had at least when he nominations for -- things before I ever want any thing I was like this Susan Lucci of comics for a long time so it feels good. To actually win them. That feels better than being nominated him losing -- just even being nominated just haven't you know having the stuff be read by people as it is just so amazing tidbits Soviets having a job. It's the Pittsburgh. So on so we're getting into -- three of the captain America got a saga they even talent. Kind of -- all the that is that this had died down an -- really getting into the where are you in terms of -- window with a story where you want to take it as we kind of get there which I assume is the finale that I mean we'll vote the finale that's coming up as the finale of the -- storyline is not the finale of captain America and you know Bucky has captain America continues on past that and I'm by Morgan on the stories after about. I've got the book planned out here I think issue. 65. Or seventy at this point so you. One of our favorite like moments of the year. Has been an accommodation of middle management wrestle with the white sermon isn't it clear that the destinies angry and he's yelling at and then and then -- three. Soleil and and house this and -- arguing yeah. That was the best over the years apart we can't get three masterminds together and have him get along for that long -- us yeah that's. That's and they have been seating all along Isabel Tennessee really don't like agenda much but -- release of serving as an ex Nazi -- so you'll see that comes ahead in the next few issues in the inner really twisted way actually so yeah. It's -- been planned from the start to exploit. So mom -- of -- sample All the President's Men fan. As so I've been I've been really Ivan driven jointly Vanilla life on the -- here on the one. So -- 500 just came out of it might pick of the week and and what I want to do because then the moved to San Francisco and the kind of venue change and -- new status quo what was the what are you infraction what was your kind of thoughts leading into that. Honestly it. We were trying to think of something to do. After messiah complex that would be like what what they do after the mansion in the search for the millionth time and I thought. Why did they rebuild the man's I said this -- knowing -- solid reverence ever Cisco and lived in neighborhoods I'd live Dan and stuff and I said. One -- has moved to San Francisco because the X-Men are the biggest freaks in the world they're not superheroes they're just born this way that I have to be superheroes they're just freaks. When -- lower your freak flag can fly and people love you for. Like I always thought why don't they live in San Francisco what -- dared -- Amber's going to the X-Men to -- if I was if I had wings I would live in the Castro probably hit a couple of you know and and I just having lived there for a long time and and feel like it's on my hometowns. Like how can would have creative living expo in San Francisco and and you know I knew axle and wouldn't. You know and everybody loved it immediately AM and the you know and then it became a huge thing so. I love the idea that they're just they're taking on the future of the take in the future they're not waiting that kind of like. Being -- it's not savers Claymores cyclops plan we're taking on severance it was the new name than. It's almost and it's really likes that that is your 500 with the costumes and -- had a great deal at all like Sweden's astonishing number one what's kind of refocus and and numb but what's your -- I wish we had ten more pages I thought we knew Tim McVeigh has -- just really expand it with -- fighting everything that I'm really proud of that issue I think this has had a great job -- the one thing advantages in those I love like that's up from almost president is really -- Cisco and tomorrow the universal has been in the real world but it's a different manner. It was did you -- worry about using Devon knew some guarded why did you make that decision. -- the -- the mayor was get a -- a character in the book in the mayor had already been seated in in the champions are not champions. Little order dad this fraction authority had the mayor severed just go like request in order to move there and they said no so I about why it was like let's be marvel continuity -- yeah exactly and plus it might have been true of might have been a little that argues Gavin Newsom yeah. So I don't controversial he probably would have been cool that they exactly that."

" And that's of the San Diego in the book's been a crazy ones we survived it I don't know how. It was huge. I feel great little voice lost not as bad as last year but I mine I paste in a lot of hands sanitized or any -- any -- how to play. Ending its agreement is a very well is a good time that's for sure right now. They are just. So the competition. So it over the its own vision -- I can't what I come talk about sending a -- on a revision three dot com force us I can't what do watched last week's episode 41 as well as all the mini episodes we -- San Diego we filmed a lot here so go check all out."

" And if you have questions you can -- contact and I -- what dot -- to -- sinister voice mail at 88 fan boys which is 3262697. God is that it is so this was huge I mean again we always talk about how much bigger it was but a lot of fun this year. It was there was not a bad I'm not going to go not go home. -- you're not you're stuck here I'm stuck here apparently -- on let me leave they'll they'll want to keep -- you will have been home though. In any -- assume -- paradox yeah yeah. Some may mean maybe we will never have heard of from you again. Sorry."

" All right time for the much -- as they closed the show we're here at the man of action Booth with the -- they close at our San Diego show where were you -- Joe Casey was very that is give us. And a they show. Okay we'll fight through this so log on I don't know your -- away what she admitted to kind of show you run here. What he's going on here you know it is my job this professional I think this is your dog got people want you get paid to do this not want to restore. I would I would want to do this -- that I'm here I'm here to help you question what's your question. Let's hear but he got. Storming off and even I don't I don't know. Come on man to a question. How's your convention -- it was -- it was right out of -- the whole time that helps. Children all of the disease is what you want. I'll look what do you what is going to give me in trouble again and again until Wednesday this. Are you trying to get in trouble I look. Let's let's try this while you just guys just get the pack up and get the thought about it. All right just packed up into the bucket and then taking the body I was has eyewitnesses pals because it's clear announces another -- live. Oh god I'm gonna get togethers vixens thousands godly in this Charlton ball as a whole slew of crap coming all right done. Have you ever listen to the image that they were elect now now we're not going to do that now they wouldn't there. That's -- that's good that's the rules -- now what we're. All right folks that was a really great moment Josh and now we're gonna wrap this up now it is. It's Sunday and -- my buzz is worn off so I -- but all right so. Take your microphone. You're gonna say is that of the -- but it's better now -- no I love the Q did some you know limited."
