Spiderman has been in the news a lot this year because there's a huge shake up in his story -- the -- one more day by joke aside and Jim Acosta is in ski. They got rid of that Peter parker Mary -- marriage we're now into the into the brand new day storyline it's been semi weekly sort of weekly. And it's been interesting there's been rotating. Creative teams -- him says the -- near the end of Marc Guggenheim. -- wells -- of writers and artists it's been good it's felt a lot like -- Spiderman should feel. But this current story arc against slot Marcus -- This is the most excited about Spiderman I've been about in probably about ten years or so. This is the second issue -- their story arc issue number 560. Marcos Martin's art is to die for people on telling you we talk so much about writers we give a lot of tension of people like Ed Brubaker by Michael Mendez and dance slot. There's lots of great writer he's doing the job on this but the real star of this book is -- Martin Marcus -- had previously done doctor strange deal with miniseries -- on a couple of years ago and now he's on I'd I don't know how many issues on the story -- But I hope he never leaves this book. His art is got a really kind of retro modern kind of feel I know it's a bit of redundant term but if you look at its echoes of Jon Bermuda echoes of Steve -- go as well as little touches of Darwin cook and himself for more contemporary artists. He's got a very clean line and clean art style but looking at it does look like has Spiderman comics look back in the sixties he got the smaller spider arising got to leave their Peter parker. It's just in the drawn to beautiful this issue has a big fight that takes place in the museum of modern art in New York City. New York City is a huge characters Spiderman and the marvel universe in general. But by having the events happen at actual places really position Spiderman is actually occurring in our university to believe that you could go to the moma and see this -- happen. This this story arc is really hit him on every point that makes Spiderman good you've got scenes with him of the daily bugle with the new publisher -- Bennett. Who's kind of shown his true colors he's dangling money in front of Peter parker making a paparazzi photographer solving his money problems but how -- he doing that you've got that story line developing. You've got continuing problems between Peter and his best friend Norman on not Norman Osborn son Harry Osbourne. On the you've got the ongoing so our saga. And even got a little -- of the romance of the very end of the book a classic Spider-Man not cliff hanger a character we haven't seen in a couple months now who's seems to be back. Amazing Spiderman number 560 I can't recommend this book enough. Spider-Man this is what it feels like to be -- Spiderman buggy yeah when I got to the end of the issue and I saw an exit next issues and you have for another two weeks. I was -- and I don't know if I can wait two weeks for this book so definitely check it out however I -- dot com you can read my entire review about it.
