Brian Wood and Ryan Kelly, the team behind Local, brings The New York Four, an original graphic novel from the MINX line of comic books. Can this book, aimed at teens impress Ron? You bet it did, and it left him a little homesick.

Brian Wood is a bad ass writer of such comics like DMZ, Northlanders and Channel Zero. But he has a sensitive side as well, as evidenced by his latest book, The New York Four. Drawn by his collaborator on the hit book Local, Ryan Kelly, The New York Four is the tale of a young girl trying to make it in the big city. Relationships, apartment woes and even romance all make for a fantastic book to read that's a little bit off the typical fare of comics out there.
