Just a heads up. You've linked to filthy British tabloid "the daily mail" in the your show notes. I can only assume that this was an error. They are the basically 'Fox news' here in the UK. Gonna take a guess and say that Rev3 probably wouldn't use Fox News as a source, so it would be a good idea to avoid the daily mail as well. You probably got it from digg, which the mail spams big time.

I watch every episode of Webb Alert and have since she first started it because it is well done and always contain useful & interesting news around the world of tech. I too wish she would leave G4...I hate G4 so much.

Talking about the Goatse guy (aka Kirk Johnson) reminded me I have an email from the dude.

A friend of mine I used to work with emailed him and got this in response.

Hey Jesse,
I'm doing good... thanks for asking. I usually don't reply to many e-mails, but for some reason I thought I should yours. I've got a few questions of my own for you too. First of all, I am the guy in the infamous goatse picture. However, I am not "goatse"... if there is really a "goatse". I have no idea who that even is... if it is really someone. But never the less, it is a picture of my ass I posted in the newsgroups years ago. The way I feel about it is... at least they could have used a decent picture. There are many better pictures of my ass out there than that depicting the same thing. It's funny how the picture became so famous... it's such a bad picture. I do get asked whether or not that is me once in a while, but usually don't reply. That picture was used without my consent on this "goatse" website as a "shock" picture I guess. I never intended it to be used that way and it's stirred up alot of controversy throughout the world, but I didn't put it there and didn't even know it was until I got asked via e-mail (much like yours) if it was me. I'm probably the most open-minded, easiest going, and nicest guy you could ever meet. I love the human body and what it can do, and have always enjoyed assplay too. You probably know a whole lot more about the goatse thing than me. I'm not real big into the internet, believe it or not. I am however an exhibitionist and do post alot of pictures in the newsgroups and such. I'm really a very normal guy other than the ass-stretching thing. I really don't care what some people say about that picture. It is me... it is real... and my ass will really stretch that way. I'm not going to get into the how's and why's right now, but for years have been sitting back and watching waht the world does with pictures of my ass in simple amazement. I even read an in-depth interview thing by some guy claiming to be me describing how he stretched his ass like that and why. It was funny... he was the biggest fake and had it all wrong. Some day maybe I'll go public with "my story", but at least I've got the proof that it's me... the mole on my ass is still there and I can easily explain the ring thing and I can eve say where and when the picture was taken and show the picture taken before the famous "goatse" one and the picture taken after in the same place... at the same time. No one else can do that. I've got the original, I guess you might say... and that one's been cropped. One thing I will say though, I have NEVER even made one single dollar on my pictures and don't think anyone else should either really. But that's not up to me. I really feel sexuality should be open and not cost as much as the world has made it. So... my stuff is free... no catches. As a matter of fact, there's a guy working on a small free website for me that really isn't public yet, but it is free and will be bigger if you want to check it out. It's just barely starting, so don't expect much yet. ( *link*

It seems to me that this new intro sort of tarnishes the relationship that Martin and Gator had. It just seems very disrespectful to Gator to have someone take his place and then start calling him your best friend forever that early after Gator's death. How could Martin just push Gator's memory to the side so easily?"

Who cares. Just enjoy the show. Don't worry too much about the "continuity" of it.
