Online Ad Operations Manager


Location: San Francisco

Position Description: Revision3, the leading online television network, is looking for an Ad Operations Manager to meet the expanding needs of our ad sales team. In this position you will report to the Director of Ad Operations and work closely with the ad sales, production and tech teams to implement, manage and optimize advertising and sponsorship campaigns and improve internal processes.

Responsibilities:

- Successfully implement sponsorship and advertising campaigns across Revision3 shows and Revision3.com.
- Point of contact for online advertising as it relates to ad specifications, campaign execution and technical requirements related to creative.
- Work closely with our third-party ad serving company for campaign set-up and management.
- Investigate and resolve deliver/performance issues and advise management on revenue risk.
- Review and provide feedback on new processes, product, and tool releases that will improve operational efficiencies.
- Provide timely reporting and analysis for sales teams and clients.
- Troubleshoot and solve any and all issues with ad delivery such as technical issues with third party vendors, or operations challenges.
- Work with internal sales teams to accurately assess site sell-through and forecast future demand.
- Closely monitor client campaigns to ensure that all client and sales objectives are being met.
- Help to create new ad packages and inventory.
- Maintain forecasting, inventory, and revenue spreadsheets for ad sales team.
- Work closely with ad sales team and clients to ensure all ad materials arrive on schedule for production.
- Work closely with ad sales and production teams to receive and deliver in-show sponsorship assets and copy sheets.

Required Experience / Background:

- Bachelor’s degree - Minimum of three (3) years working in Online Ad Operations or Internet Trafficking
- Experience using one or more Internet Ad serving products (i.e. Freewheel, DART, Atlas, Goggle Analytics, 24/7 Real Media, etc.)
- Experience with Salesforce.com
- Proven record of accomplishment in online ad operations management.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities a must.
- Extremely well organized and detail oriented.
- Strong analytical skills for campaign analysis and optimization.
- Excellent quantitative analysis, strategic, and creative problem solving skills.
- Basic HTML understanding
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in traditional television or radio trafficking is a plus.


Regional Sales Manager


Location: San Francisco or Los Angeles

Position Description: Revision3, the leading online television network, is looking for a high-energy Regional Sales Manager with at least 3 years of outside sales experience in online advertising. The perfect candidate has existing relationships with advertising agencies and clients in Southern CA and The Bay Area, a proven track record of advertising sales success, and an ability to sell creatively.

Responsibilities:

- Sell online video campaigns and sponsorships across all of Revision3 shows to a variety of advertisers
- Seek out and respond to relevant ad sales RFP’s, identify and develop advertising prospects
- Work closely with content creators to develop out of the box sponsorship ideas and unique ways to integrate sponsors into shows
- Track available advertising inventory, create a sales pipeline, and coordinate advertising delivery in shows
- Interface with ad agencies & clients to ensure successful advertising campaigns/buys on Revision3

Required Experience / Background:

- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years ad sales experience (familiarity with selling M 18-34 demo is a plus)
- Established relationships with agencies and clients in Southern CA and Bay Area
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High energy, outgoing, professional demeanor

Compensation:

Base salary commensurate with experience plus aggressive commission plan.


Director of Audience Development

Position Description: Revision3, the leading online television network, is hiring an Audience Development Manager to lead its efforts in growing viewership to the company's 20 entertaining and informative episodic shows. This position will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with the company's extensive distribution platform, developing and implementing paid and organic search campaigns, and building successful viewership campaigns on video sharing sites.

The candidate needs to be a digital media pro with proven ability to grow visits, depth and repeat frequency viewership by optimizing and leveraging traditional search engines and social media sites. This position will lead and implement a digital media strategy that includes social media, YouTube, Google, along with over the top and traditional television destinations. In addition the ideal candidate needs to be able to think conceptually and strategically, but also be willing to roll up their sleeves and execute themselves. Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a content distribution strategy to increase awareness of Revision3, and to drive viewers and traffic to our site and to our partners
- Manage Relationships with Current Distribution Partners
- Design, Develop and Implement SEO, SEM, YouTube and other Optimization models
- Update and tweak content on partner sites daily
- Identify, Negotiate and implement New Distribution Partnerships
- Develop and Maintain Social Networking and Audience Relationships
- Build out and Expand Revision3 Street Team
- Manage Reporting for Distribution Partners
- Create and execute a solid blogger and webmaster outreach program in order to drive traffic and viewers to Revision3.com and to our partners
- Develop and execute link exchange and cross-promotion programs with other sites and shows
- Use the web analytic tools to analyze and report on the results of these efforts
- Act as the internal champion for our partners
Implement and Execute paid arbitrage model to drive views across sites
- Build out horizontal and vertical distribution network

Skills

- Five to Seven years experience in digital media, preferably in a client-side digital content business.
- 1-3 years experience in search engine marketing, with a concentration on organic and paid
- A superstar with demonstrated success in cost effectively increasing traffic to digital properties.
- Extremely knowledgeable and proven experience in the use of Social Media, Social Network and Blogs for the distribution of digital medial content.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to balance creative thinking with strong attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar required, MBA preferred.


Director of Programming


Position Description: Revision3, the leading online television network, is hiring a Programming Director to help shape its efforts in creatively managing the company's 20 entertaining and informative episodic shows. In addition, this position will help source and develop new shows for the network.

The candidate needs to be a television or digital media pro with proven ability to creatively develop and manage television shows. This position will work with the VP of Programming to both cultivate existing shows and develop new programs and programming strategies.

- Manage new show launches
- Manage show execution after launch
- Create content plans
- Review shows before release
- Give creative notes on shows
- Create cross promotional plans
- Develop and maintain show needs around content
- Interface with sales department to maximize integration opportunities
- Manage development process with internal and external producers
- Scout new shows for the network to acquire
- Develop strong relationship with all shows and show teams

Skills

- Five to Seven years experience in television or digital media, in a creative role
- 1-3 years experience developing, creating or running a show
- Extremely knowledgeable in the use of the internet, social media and social networks.
- Proven ability to recognize good content and develop shows accordingly
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to balance creative thinking with strong attention to detail.

Internship Program

Revision3 is currently seeking one more qualified intern for immediate consideration. Our internship program provides students with a professional, career-related, meaningful work experience in an exciting and forward-looking environment. Here's what we're looking for:

Television Programming Intern

Responsibilities:

- Assist VP of Programming as needed
- Research potential show acquisitions
- Locate and do qualitative study on whether an existing show should be considered for acquisition
- Research production entities doing current internet-based shows
- Assemble and analyze regular view (ratings) information on existing Revision3 shows
- Help develop programming strategy

Requirements:

- Highly motivated and independent; a self-starter
- Tech savvy with strong and extensive knowledge of pop culture and the internet
- Plugged in to what is brand new and cool in the online space
- TV Production or Communications major preferred, but not required
- Experience in television or internet video production and programming

To qualify, you must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and actively pursuing a related degree or credential. Applicants must be able to commit to at least 18 hours per week and a 3 month term. Candidates must also be living in the San Francisco Bay Area during the internship.
