Down in the deep south, there's a new sport emerging. It's a dangerous sport for danger seeking men, men of great daring, strength, and skill. It's called catfish noodlin', and when done right, the players pull huge catfish out of holes on the muddy bottom of lakes and rivers with their bare hands.

These waters are inhabited by alligators, snakes, and snapping turtles, but even if you manage to avoid these obvious hazards, the bony gills, and sharp teeth of these great fish mean that there will always be a little blood. But the true catfish noodler wouldn't have it an other way
