Fat Kids

Monday, March 31st, 2008 – running time 02:57

Fat kids are out to prove something, and they're getting badly hurt in the process.

The internet is many things to many people. To some, it's a way to buy and sell goods, to others it's a way to get up the second news and information, as still to others it is a fast and easy way to connect with prospective friends and potential lovers.

But for me, it is something deeper and more important. It's quite simply the best place on earth to see fat kids getting hurt.

Yes viewer, there are legions of fat kids out there... and maybe it's the insecurity that comes with being, well, fat... but they clearly have something to prove.

As a result there is an endless supply of videos on internet of these fat kids hurting themselves... badly.

There's the fat kid who goes face down on the sidewalk while trying to grab a low hanging branch... perhaps with the hope that this was a twinkie tree.

Then there's the fat kid who, after burning up the stomp pads on Dance Dance Revolution, has his legs betray him causing him to fall in front of his adoring public.

We can't forget the cruelty of fat on fat violence demonstrated here as one Mexican fat kid tosses his friend off a log plunging him into a filthy factory runoff spill creek.

Or this really fat daredevil kid who eats a heaping pile of Georgia red clay going over the handle bars of his undersized moped...

Who could overlook the haunting screams this fat kid as his so called friends unload on him with a paint gun while he is stuck on a rock in a creek.

Or the moans of pain after this fat kid's brave attempts to launch his Huffy dirt bike over a 2 foot jump go all sorts of wrong.

And finally, this cocky fat kid's dismount off the top of a van ends in a lot of embarrassment and probably a shattered collarbone.

What is it about fat kids getting hurt that I love so much? That's for me and my therapist to discover. The important thing here is that I've just scratched the surface here. There are endless reams of footage out there depicting fat kids injuring themselves in countless creative way. And I love them all. That's why the Injured Fat kids of Internet are today's internet superstars.

Catch a new Lil Internet Superstar right here on Revision 3 everyday.
