Nothing says summer like a slide down the wet, slippery plastic runway that is the backyard Slip n' Slide.
Well gang summer is here. And, to me, nothing says summer like a good back yard Slip n' Slide session.
When I was a kid I was the king of the slip n slide...If slip n' sliding was an Olympic sport like figure skating, I'd basically be Evgeni Plushenko, such was my ability to blend strength, daring and grace on the slide.
I'd usually break my slide out around mid February and I wouldn't change out of my wet Speedo until Halloween...unless of course I got sidelined by an injury, like the time Billy Redonna dropped a cinderblock on me, knocking me off course causing me to lay my thigh open on a poorly planted steak. It took 180 stitches to close me up, but I was sliding again a week later, I just had to put a lot of duct tape over the wound.
And as it turns out there are a ton of great slip n slide videos on internet to get us all pumped up for a summer of sluice sliding.
