Anyone can start a blog, but it takes a strong level of devotion to actually maintain it. Which is why my blog, SargeWorld.com www.sargeworld.com, hasn’t been updated in approximately one year.

But SargeWorld www.sargeworld.com does have just shy of one-hundred wonderfully compelling entries, which isn’t too shabby relative to lesser blogs.

I’m referring specifically to those blogs that start with so must gusto and promise, but never get beyond one post.

And these blogs have been consolidated on a very well maintained blog at 1post1der.blogspot.com http://1post1der.blogspot.com/

Let’s take a look at a few examples.

There’s the blog Voice In My Head http://1post1der.blogspot.com/2008/06/voiceinmyheadblogspotcom.html, which began and ended on January 27, 2002 at 10:36pm, and has as it’s only entry: “It hit me today like an alien anal probe - Every woman of any signficance in my life has let me down.”

Given the blogger’s obviously depressed mental state, I fear why there has never been a 2nd entry.

And then there’s the blog larrybird.blogspot.com http://bp2.blogger.com/_a-cWskJG7u4/SGUmqIGnY9I/AAAAAAAAAPk/wgkPMen5EMQ/s1600-h/LARRYBIRD.PNG, which obviously has no association with the great basketball player or anybody else with any skill at anything. It started and finished with the post, “Late to the SATs, got there all confused, couldn't find the building over all shitty experience.”

Though obviously, not nearly as shitty experience as your blog is.

Perhaps most depressing on all is the one blog wonder, Golden Fiddle http://bp2.blogger.com/_a-cWskJG7u4/SGQjSi4ODpI/AAAAAAAAAOM/WUPVejWql3g/s1600-h/GOLDENFIDDLE.PNG, which started and ended it’s awful life by someone named Spencer on August 4, 2003 at 8:51pm.

It’s presented in the form of a lyric, reading:

woke up this morning

had them stalking blues

i woke up this morning

had them stalking blues

well i sat in my car and cried all day

cause you left the apartment while i was still asleep

Again, we must wonder about but hope against the notion that a self-inflicted gunshot wound was the reason for the may fly’s lifespan of this blog.

And finally, there’s Musics http://bp0.blogger.com/_a-cWskJG7u4/SGUOGlvbzCI/AAAAAAAAAOk/8l_R_cSTYZI/s1600-h/musics.PNG, which breaks the mold by having two posts, but being that it’s an erroneous double-post of the same entry at the same time, it still counts. And this one sums it all up, reading:

I am retarded.

At 1post1der.blogspot.com www.1post1der.blogspot.com, you’ll find about one-hundred similarly depressing and/or inane single post blogs all added this month alone, making the site not a far cry from the types of blogs in heralds, but also an Internet Superstar!
