After watching these failed back flips, you'll never let your children take gymnastics lessons.

Internet also thrives on failure. More specifically, it thrives on the filming of other people failing in physical endeavors.

To honor that spirit of epic failure, I've picked out my three favorite back flip failures for your enjoyment. It was no small task, as Internet fat and lousy with people failing at back flips. But for me, these three stand out:

Back Flip Fail Number One

I like this one because it teaches us a valuable lesson. The two friends who are supposed to help out do nothing...this is a cruel reminder that, when we fail on internet, or in life, we fail alone. Those friends who are supposed to have our back usually just serve to smash your face a little bit harder into the hardwood of life.

Back Flip Fail Number Two

This hotshot gets the product placement right in his quasi audition for some hip-hop fueled M&Ms commercial. But sweet God does he fail epically on the landing. Listen to it again. That sickening crunching sound sounds like a plastic Saturn bumper hitting a fire hydrant at about 50 miles per hour. Sorry kid, maybe M&Ms will buy you a new set of teeth. And kneecaps.

Back Flip Fail Number Three

This is just kind of funny. I like the sounds he makes. Sort of similar to Yosemite Sam.
