You wouldn't know that the Asus VivoBook X202 is a budget laptop from the outside. Besides its aluminum chassis and solid build, this 11.6-inch notebook is preloaded with Windows 8 and it's even got a touchscreen and a generous selection of ports, including Ethernet, HDMI and an SD card reader. The Asus VivoBook X202 is an inexpensive way to experience Windows 8's touch interface, and best of all, it doesn't look cheap.
The 11.6-inch touchscreen sports a typical 1,366 x 768-pixel screen resolution, which is good enough for its size. The screen is glossy, but it's bright and the viewing angles are good. Under the hood we've got a 1.8 GHz Core i3 processor with 4GB of RAM along side the Core standard Intel HD 4000 graphics.
