The Padfone 2 has some impressive hardware specifications that make it a competitive high end smartphone. This 720p 4.7 inch LG Super IPS+ panel with maximum brightness of 700nits has a top of the line quad core Qualcomm S4 Pro APQ8064 running at 1.5GHz with a whopping 2GB of RAM to provide a snappy multitasking experience.
The new Padfone 2 weighs in at 135g and measures 137.9 x 68.9 x 9mm. It also retains the same tapered design as the original Padfone and is a bit sleeker, however, the big change is that the battery is 2140mAH and will remain sealed. As a result, it does not have a micro SD card slot for expansion.
It also features an impressive 13 megapixel Sony CCD for its rear camera, a 3.5 mm jack at the top of the phone along with a microSIM slot.
